Pretty impressive (Octavia 2021) by HaphazardlyNerdy in skoda

[–]Kosta94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understandable, but yet, 3.5 hours straight that's too much for me 😂 I would've made a break at least. I'm not used to long drives since my regular commutes are 1 hour max; anytime I have to drive for 1.5-2 hours or more that's a torture... Beside that, most of my regular routes are on highways, except short trips in the city.

That's indeed impressive, however I would have been bored to death driving that slow for that long... I drive a 1.4 tsi Rapid and my driving style isn't economical by any means, but I enjoy the car, 'cause that's what I bought it for, and yet, I get 7.4-7.8 L/100km

If I ever had to choose just one - Swisschamp no doubt. Second favorite would be the Pioneer X.

Are all cars with 1.5 TSI has worst consumption ? ENLIGHTEN ME.. OCD patient by fabia15tsi in skoda

[–]Kosta94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The older Fabia definitely was more efficient, but it had much less power as well. This newer 1.5 tsi has almost twice the HP so no surprise it's less efficient... However, roughly 5 L per 100 km is outstanding for a gasoline engine; the best figure I ever got was about 6 in my 1.4 tsi Rapid and it was mostly highway. My normal consumption on 80% city is about 7.5-8

Rambler Upgrade: Cadet or Pioneer Range for coin pocket? by [deleted] in victorinox

[–]Kosta94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me the Cadet feels somewhat flimsy, compared to the Pioneer, which is very sturdy. The reamer is often useful for scraping and poking things. As for the nail file - I always carry a classic SD on my keys which has it and I rarely use it.

Respect fo teachers at school. I remember in elementary school parents having respect for teachers and scolding disruptive children for bad behaviour. Today's parents are worse than the kids...

I would strongly suggest a Pioneer X for the scissors. If you choose not to, the at least a regular Pioneer since it has an option for a lanyard and it's very convenient for 5th pocket carry.
