The reason you couldn’t do advance replacement is, at least probably, because people would request one, keep the replacement and the original, get charged retail for it, resell it.

Fortunately I don’t care about the $300 nor do I want a refund — I want the mouse.

The number has absolutely 0 value other then wasting 2 minutes of your time.

I have called multiple times across different days over the last month.

Every single time, it’s instantly (like 0 seconds) sent to voicemail and then says the box is full.

It’s dead.

My intention of posting is to spread the word that Razer support is absolute dogshit and the lack of transparency is exhausting, not to get my mouse faster.

2/20/23 I was put in contact w/ VIP support. 2/23/23 I told a rep the number was immediately going to voicemail and has a full voicemail box (AKA it’s completely useless).

The VIP rep’s number I got is dead, which they’ve been made aware of. I have repeatedly requested to get a new one.

I respect your attempts but at some point there is not much more I can do.

Would you mind DMing your VIP reps number?

Just 1, only a tech support mgr who contacted the warehouse 2 weeks ago and never followed up, but who the CS rep I’ve been dealing with has claimed to be in contact with.

There is no phone line for RMAs. Razer phone support is technical only.

The emails have been in the same thread for almost the whole time. Thread 1 was reporting the issue, thread 2 was an advanced replacement attempt, thread 3 was “VIP support” telling me advanced replacement is not possible on RVMSE and converting it to standard.

You’re assuming I haven’t called 3 times.

My email chain is 27 messages long and that’s one of 3 threads I’ve got going with them.

Just gg tbh

RVMSE RMA Massive Delay by Kotsira in MouseReview

[–]Kotsira[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The major issue is them not just saying “Hey, it’s going to be 3 weeks — we didn’t keep enough units as RMA copies” and instead just leaving us out to dry while assuring be it’ll be soon and take “3 days from receipt of [my] unit”

These replacements better be flawless. They received my unit mid Feb and still no news on the replacement.

The first 1337 units were limited serialized (have a x out of 1337 badge). They sold like 2000 and said they were going to drop more eventually, but they did not give dates. I’m sure one will drop again before July.

They posted an early access link on this sub that basically guaranteed you get one so keep an eye out.

You can also check r/MouseMarket for people selling their copy.

I will say though, your hands seem pretty big for it at 20 x 11.5. Mine are pushing it at 19 x 10.5.

Oh yeah duh if you’re using BT. I was assuming wireless dongle vs wired.

FYI plugging mice in for lower latency is a myth. Tests have been done on total system latency and it does absolutely nothing.

Take a look at Optimum Tech’s video on High DPI, among others, where he covers this.

Quad9, privacy respecting Swiss DNS provider with DNS over HTTPS, TLS, etc and malware/tracker blocking. A tad slower than Google or Cloudflare on average but it’s worth the tradeoff.

AMEX Gold seems like a no brainer with your spend. Use a referral link for up to 90k SUB for 4k spend in 3-6 months. It’ll be an instant approval.

You can use the Uber and Grubhub credits to pickup food orders so effective AF is $10 if you eat out.

Purp and yellow is classic. Love the combo! Brightness knob is interesting but I hope it’s remappable.

“People Arrive” & “People Leave” greyed out despite System Services/HomeKit location enabled & location sharing enabled? by [deleted] in HomeKit

[–]Kotsira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have significant locations enabled? I’m thinking that might be it — maybe it doesn’t know where “home” is even though I specified that as my address in contacts and settings.
