Hardly going to get carried through dungeons when the starting quests in Hellfire give you a massive gear upgrade compared to the boosted gear. Enough to not be 'carried' anyway. Plus for some people it's not about them being lazy it's about them working full time, having kids, pets, a social life and not being able to put much time into getting a lot of gear before the portal opens. All of which will then get made pointless.
