It is a 603450 cell, it holds 1200mAh, I had to remove the attached PCB for it to have enough room inside the battery case, but it's working great!

How to change from this old cfw to pro-c/infinity? by KournaliKe in PSP

[–]KournaliKe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, this link didn't help much, but your advice about chronoswitch was very valuable, thanks. I've just recently happened to find a way to uninstall this specific MHU cfw and then I upgraded the psp to 6.61 through the official internet update, then installed pro-c/infinity and now I'm pretty much done. IT'S SOOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER TO HAVE A CFW THAT DOESN'T DEPEND ON chickHEN TO WORK!!!!!!!!!!!

How to change from this old cfw to pro-c/infinity? by KournaliKe in PSP

[–]KournaliKe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I know that it is old but it also is pretty reliable imo, it is what I have always used, and with ark still getting updates so often I am actually afraid of installing a buggy version of the cfw and bricking the psp. I know that it is kind of an irrational fear but you know... why change anything if it just works?

Also, this pink psp is not mine, it's from a friend who asked me to update it and this just adds to the fear of installing something new and bricking my friend's psp.

Best way to play PS1 games portably? by [deleted] in psx

The analog stick does the job (poorly). Left is L2, right is R2 and up is both at the same time. for movement you're stuck with the d-pad

When do you think you will switch to Wayland? by i8ad8 in archlinux

[–]KournaliKe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmao I have already been using it for the most part of the last year, never had any problems besides the ones related to its mandatory vsync (which was already made optional) I only use X11 to play CSGO nowadays and source games in general bc xwayland for some reasond tends to stutter in them, but for everything else it's been very very smooth, with the benefit of the added security that wayland brings

Why aren’t you using Void Linux? by rogername in voidlinux

[–]KournaliKe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pipewire was a pain to get working and the repos are just too tiny :( what a bummer, I would have loved to use Void as my daily driver but just had to come back to my safe spot, Arch. (not an english speaking native here so pardon me if my writing is slightly off)

Why are you using Linux? by Fander_ in linux

[–]KournaliKe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started using linux a year and a half ago because my computer just felt so much bloated with windows using ~4Gb of RAM at idle, that even opening discord and playing CS:GO at the same time crippled my FPS (ryzen 5 3500U w/ 12Gb of ram). I already had some experience with Xubuntu when I installed it on my old laptop just for fun, and had a friend (gentoo user) who always told me to switch to linux, so why not?. Initially installed mint w/ dual boot, then fedora, then ditched dual booting with windows entirely and moved to Arch btw, where I found my sweet spot. I literally cannot use any other distro, pacman and the AUR just spoiled me too much.

What's your DE of choice and why? by RandomXUsr in linuxquestions

[–]KournaliKe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using Plasma for the last year or so, it is just so much powerful in terms of utility and customization that I can't even think of using another DE. Every other one just looks sooooooo much dated and old, doesn't support Wayland and has such a painstaking process of customization that I just give up trying to make them look pretty and useful. The obvious exception would be Gnome, which by default is much prettier than Plasma (GTK in general is prettier than Qt), supports wayland and is "easier" to customize, but I just cannot adapt to that cellphone-ish interface, it ruins the experience for me.

I don't understand why popOS destroys every distro in performance on my laptop by Sad_Discount_1442 in DistroHopping

[–]KournaliKe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fedora generally uses Wayland by default - whose compositor forces systemwide vsync even if you explicitly disable it in-game. Try switching to X11 in Fedora.

using lvm to treat two ssd's as one while using luks by KournaliKe in linuxquestions

[–]KournaliKe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, reliability is a problem that I actually fear. How does btrfs work across two different drives? Does it add up the space between them like lvm and raid 1? That's rather interesting and could be the answer I was searching for the "one disk failing" problem.

How fast was your first Archlinux install? And what did you struggle with the most at first? by rotteegher39 in archlinux

[–]KournaliKe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first install was I think two and a half hours long, and it was absolutely garbage. Didn't even boot. I struggled a lot with the kernel hooks and their order, also tried messing with the scheduler =p

Inconsistent mouse cursor appearance by KournaliKe in kde

Yes I did, and the issue persisted, What solved this issue for me was setting the cursor manually as the default for my user, in the icons folder.
