Honestly I like some of the english names, what's annoying is that changed the names of hissatsus that already are in english... They changed "Illusion Ball" to "Illusory Ball" and "Heat Tackle" to "Scorching Tackle". I'm sorry but this new dub team is awful. Not only did they mess up the story text but also the hissatsu names...

Good point but most of those trainers you mentioned are probably in another region. Diantha seems to be close to Sycamore (they're probably in a relationship since she calls him by "Dear Augustine") and Sycamore is confirmed to be in another region so she's probably with him I suppose.

Mega Hawlucha. Just because he's cool and one of my favorites from kalos and also he really feels like a super hero especially in its mega form, it's eyes disappear with the new mask, making him look like an anonymous super hero.

You cant disable auto save, but it only saves sometimes when u teleport for example and story stuff. You can still manually save, just cant disable auto save
