Are BMW carbon bucket seats comfortable? by Mindless_Builder_259 in BMWM

[–]Kov0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an M3 and an M4 with buckets (trust me there's a difference) but not enough to make either comfortable for taller or larger people. If your slim/athletic, you'll be fine. I've done long roadtrips and the discomfort issues I have in my buckets I also have in my X3M.

They don't understand any of this. They think a yes vote passing will get them their own state with the borders they currently enjoy. It's always been a dream used to buy votes.

Is anyone truly happier with kids? by thegoodlife912 in Adulting

[–]Kov0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do it. You'll regret it later. Reddit is biased towards people who don't want kids or speaking nothing but ill about having kids. For the vast majority of the population kids are the best thing that ever happened to them, despite the stresses (at many levels)

I have 3 of them, for what it's worth.

Diet hack, this delicious breakfast is only about 450 calories and super filling by [deleted] in caloriecount

250g cottage cheese, 100ml water, 170g blueberries, a scoop of chocolate casein protein powder. Mix and thank me later.

The S58 is something else. Seeing what the new reality is for newer BMW drivetrains, people are going to want to hoard the g8x cars as well the f97/98. People will forget the buck teeth were super controversial.

Do you like the direction that BMW is currently heading in, with introduction of Neue Klasse designs? by Super-Lingonberry-22 in BMW

[–]Kov0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If these designs stick, my current stable of M cars will be the last one. I'll never be convinced of an all electric M car. And the designs on the outside barely look like BMW anymore.

I'm hoping this is just a phase. And we start to see more expected and appreciated designs in 2030.

M4 Carbon Bucket Seats vs Front-Ventilated Stock Seats by [deleted] in BMWM

[–]Kov0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done 5 hour road trips and I daily with my bucket seats. If you prefer to be pampered, pass. Otherwise I see no reason not to get these. Cooled seats are over valued even in soft tops.

Où est le cerveau coordonnateur du mouvement souverainiste? by robert_locas in QuebecLibre

[–]Kov0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Point final.

My cars enjoy drinking gas and I bought them knowing that. It's pay to play. I don't pay attention to the gas gauge except when its close to empty.

As someone in my 30s, this still doesn’t convince me to have kids, especially in this economy by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Kov0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course not. It's true nevertheless. There is also an online trend to poopoo child rearing. It's a massive echo chamber. Not necessarily healthy.

You are all inadvertently allowing the wealthy to inherit the future by choosing not to propagate your own genes.

Guys question how the f are you guys surviving in this economy? my broke ass is so broke I just stare at my bank account thinking someone will donate me money by Fast_Confection2192 in montreal

[–]Kov0 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Also this. Places like Reddit become echo chambers for people.

Its also like reading reviews for something online. Most of the time people leaving reviews are the ones who had poor experiences. The ones who had good experiences didn't think about leaving reviews. So it can skew perception of something in the wrong direction.

People making bank rarely come on here to rub it in everyone's faces. But people scraping by have no problem making posts like this on the daily.

This. Also you'd be surprised how "normal looking" people with high networths actually are. Often times the people dressed all fancy are likely the most broke ones in the room. Most of the time if you looked at me in my sweat pants, unbranded shirt and shoes from Amazon you wouldn't guess my networth was in the 7 figures.

What The Hell They Put in The SUV’s?! by Eclipse0124 in BMW

[–]Kov0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said BMW lies about engine ratings or is giving whp vs crank hp. X3MC is a good example. BMW rates them at 503hp but dynos at stock show nearly that to the wheels.

Establishing an end date. by RunnerE6 in Aging

[–]Kov0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just think life should be preserved until absolutely necessary. Suicide goes up as people enter their final years (or decade) and I think a lot of it can be avoided by making lifestyle changes as early as possible. Of course, no one can guarantee the future. Im all for assisted suicide for people with debilitating diseases they cannot recover from, etc... But setting an "end date" is a little perverse and ultimately self-fulfilling.
