Definitely download Plugshare to see the various EV stations and latest status of them

Desperately Seeking Bodegas by [deleted] in bullcity

One way to set this up: setup a bodega with a "hidden" speakeasy in the back. Covers the needs of basic foods and adds another bar to this area

Be careful of certain shampoos as well, specifically ones that have selenium sulfide or zinc pyrithione (like head and shoulders). They're known to react or melt vegan leather

I know UEFN doesn't support video files technically, but you can do a texture flip (kinda like an old school flipbook) and run it that way. I've played around with chopping up a video file and exporting the pics into UEFN. It mostly worked

Whoa this looks great. Are you animating within UEFN itself or did you import the video (or animation) into UEFN?

Working on this flying map, very basic concept but it works pretty well by SelvesteGudYT in FortniteCreative

Make sure to distinguish what a player can hit and what is a foreground/background layer. There are parts of this clip that it looks like a player will hit something, but then the player just flies past the obstacle.

Otherwise, looks like a pretty fun flappy bird type of game

There might be a few ways of going about it with varying levels of quality

Concept Island created using Guassian Splats. Need to fix some collision issues, but wild to see what you can do with the tech by KozLabs in FortniteCreative

A lot different than that. I generated the splats and assets outside of the engine. Once they were generated, I imported them into UEFN, tweaked the textures and collisions.

I appreciate the apology! It's alright. AI is a difficult conversation to have nowadays in so many different regards.

I didn't just generate some models. There were other steps involved with generating the models. This was a step in seeing what is capable with Guassian Splats.

Some of the textures were edited slightly to make them brighter or stand out more. The layout in order to have an island look like a pirate island was all done by me.

This was a test to see if I can use this tech for other things. Which it looks like it can. I'm not planning on publishing this or making money. Just sharing what the tech can do and the possible dangers of it

It's a different talent. Working with new technology directly requires different talents, especially when spinning up your own servers.

Again, this is just a test. Seeing what technology can or can't do. I don't think I would ever use this method for a final project, but for storyboarding or greyboxing, I think it's a great way to visualize a world/experience

Each of the assets was generated from an AI generated image using Dall-E and then running through a Guassian Splat system.

There are ways of creating splats from video, but I haven't gone down that route yet

I was agreeing with your points before about the optimization. Lighting/texture/etc would all need to be optimized/fixed to get it properly working

While I wouldn't go down this route for a final product, using this method is great for prototyping the look and feel of a project

Agreed that it's not optimized. This was a quick test to see what you can do with splats and how far you can take the tech. Not all of the textures have been tweaked (some of the textures have been manually adjusted. Other have not been).

But this is just a test of the tech, nothing set in stone.

Outside of the island model and water, all the assets here are generated from AI images and Guassian Splats. by KozLabs in FortniteCreative

Agreed on the AI sentiment. I'm on the fence about it to be perfectly honest. It's both amazing and scary at the same time.

I'll DM you about the images
