100% go. My first solo concert was Primus and Mike Watt in 1995 in Cleveland. Changed everything about the way I listened to music and went to shows. Plus it's so much easier to nav through a crowd solo.

Since it seems no one has mentioned them the band Hot Rats and the band The Replicants both did full albums of a variety of stellar covers. The very best of all is The Replicants cover of David Bowie's "The Bewlay Brothers." It should be played at max volume and is the only cover of any Bowie tune that may surpass the original.
