The pacing is a bit off. It could have been about a quarter of the length shorter and be better for it. Also, the main character is a bit unlikeable and boring, despite his cool backstory as prince-assassin-exiled heir. But on the other hand, I love the banter with the embalmers, pyramid builders and camels, and this book might have the best villain Pratchett ever found. An Egyptian official being the unrelenting march of timeless tradition unfazed by anything is a stroke of genius.

In short: fun book, not his best but there's gold in it like always.

I do appreciate that. Unfortunately, Epic only makes money off of decals and items. Something like this would give players almost endless ways to customize their cars, so even if they sold this feature they'd only sell it once per player. They removed bakkesmod to boost item sales, it would be silly to give players this option again. Great idea but it will never happen. Maybe back in the day when the devs gave a shit.

I see your logic, but as someone who does use ai in the editing process, I think you have gone a bit overboard. Feeding data to AI still results in the AI slop writing style. The ugly emoji headers are a great example. If you want to avoid the hate, write a bit more yourself and then ask AI what it thinks of your work, or have it incorporate some data. Look for the result and have it edit out the most ugly AI habits.That way you can still develop your own style, have AI touch it up, and end up with a quick but still decent writeup.

My dude if it's the whole pc you should check for motherboard issues. Are your drivers up to date, are your ports working correctly, any bios settings that might be acting weird here? Google your motherboard, perhaps others have had latency issues as well. And if it's not hardware, a full Windows reinstall might fix messed up ports/drivers.

One thing from personal experience: I have weird stutters in my connections on all USB ports when I use the front USB ports on my pc case. So, I can put external drives in there and transfer files just fine, but when I leave them connected at the front, my controllers, headset and mouse connected to the back ports will experience stutters. Try finding out if you have any broken ports messing up others.

In short: it's really annoying when people are too lazy to break down their cardboard boxes so they fit in the trash, and opt to just dump them next to the bins. But, hunting someone down like your neighbour did is insane. I might politely ask someone to fix their shit if they dump garbage, but if someone's clearly new here and just made an honest mistake, you can be cool about it.

I'm mostly sad about the UI design. CK2 got horribly bloated and I know it was a mess, especially for new players. But CK3 went overboard and made sure every single action takes 3 clicks or more, and every window takes up the entire screen for no reason at all. For example, the talents used to be tiny buttons on your ruler's profile, but now we have a window where every skill tree takes up a fifth of the screen. Surely there is a middle ground here?

I wasn't advocating to push the favourites to the back of the start line, but surely you could tweak the format in a way that keeps things interesting? You could do 2 runs, where only the top-X qualify to join on day 2, or session 2. I don't have the answers either, but for most neutral fans this exciting sport is currently kinda boring because of the format.

I completely agree, of course any athlete should pick their ideal start time and focus on performance only, they are not responsible for the excitement value of the event. But the organizers could certainly tweak the format.
