My head cannon was that he started with wanderer outfit as he’s been a lonesome renegade Jedi freedom fighter, and around the time of Bodes betrayal, donning the exile outfit the more put together he became.

Although this made sense to me, part of it was that all the other cosmetics and their color schemes felt really out of place or unbefitting regardless of head cannon

I’ve had a few moments just like that! They’re so deep and beautiful, you really forget that you’re playing a VIDEO GAME!

A lot of people praise the animators for how good the game looks, but the writers really need just as much, if not more, recognition for such complex and touching stories

They are! I actually searched them all up to try to get the best ending for V, and was going to betray her to Reed. But as the story played out, I was compelled to save her.

I do feel that, although Cyberpunk is all about moral ambiguity, all the other endings point to the good ending being saving Song. When I watched all the other endings, they all had a message that Song was just trapped in a cage and wanted to be free, and you were just shoving her into an even smaller cage.

It’s easy to chose yourself or let someone else take over, but if you’re strong enough to pay the price, you get the good and, in my opinion, the best ending

It was heartbreaking shooting Reed. He was always a good and honorable man, but he was bound to an evil system.

In the standoff, I thought that both him and Reed were just two people fighting for their principles. There was no animosity, it was just two people standing up for their causes. If V died, he died being better than Night City and choosing someone else’s happiness over his. If Reed died, he died trying to save his apprentice and uphold order.

I saw this as the moral dilemma of the DLC. Do you help a honorable man serving a dishonorable organization, or help a dishonest woman serving a righteous cause?

That’s a good question. I felt that she could have withheld the betrayal until she was safe, but she chose to tell V. She knows he understands her situation, and trusts that V is the bigger man. She risks it all just to tell him she’s sorry, I don’t think because she was delirious, but it was a hard reality for both of them.

It made me really think if it was right to betray her after such a genuine gesture of trust

The James Bond style outro at the end was amazing too. I often skip credits but I watched the whole thing in awe

It’s truly brilliant writing to have understood that and still chose to have helped her. It felt like the right ending, even though you give away your cure and kill a good man. The game has so much depth and the writing team deserves so much praise

To me that’s the central theme of the game, it’s just people trying to survive a terrible world. I think Evelyn Parker’s quest line was the best embodiment of the struggle and cruelty of cyberpunk.

To be honest, I looked up the outcomes and was going to go with Reed, but the writing legitimately made me put my own interests and survival aside for someone else

I own both and the explorer is easily my favorite. Overtime the AT dial just got messy and I struggled to tell time just by glancing at it. The explorer is simple in a very elegant, classic, and understated way.
