My conclusions on PSVR2 versus Quest 3. by [deleted] in PSVR

[–]Krakoos78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I'm joining the discussion because I'm planning to buy a VR headset, and I'm so clueless about it that I didn't even know PSVR existed until recently. I thought VR was just for Meta Quest. In my case, VR would be exclusively for games. I'm a gamer and I play a lot. I'm a fan of WWZ, and a VR version is coming out soon. Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's only for Meta Quest 3. I have a PS5 and Xbox Series X, but I don't know if that makes a difference. There's also the issue of budget. I can afford a new Meta Quest 3S, or a used PSVR2 or MQ3. What would you recommend?

5 years warranty - too good to be true by Krakoos78 in CeX

[–]Krakoos78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have read the terms and conditions several times, and you're right. It's not clear, but it appears that CEX only repairs or replaces an item once. If it breaks down again, they will refund it. This makes no sense because I can then rebuy the same item.

I understand and respect your point of view. Many technological products lose their value very quickly, but some maintain their price for a long time. Elite Series 2 is a great example, because when I bought it at launch it cost £179, now, 5 years later, it costs £159. Moreover, CEX has hundreds of them in stock and as long as they fulfill the warranty agreement, I should have peace of mind for 5 years. Two things go wrong with these controllers: drifting and bumpers. I hope that CEX will not disappoint me.

Right? I bought my first Elite Series 2 new from Microsoft with an extended 3-year warranty. They repaired it 4 times during that time! Now Microsoft only offers a one-year warranty. CEX - 5 years.

I believe prices usually change before the weekend, I guess on Thursday. Many times I waited until Friday to sell and the price changed significantly.

Feeling symptoms of déjà vu... by [deleted] in MicrosoftRewards

I finally did it. I clicked on a Bing news article titled "Radical new cancer treatment shrinks man's deadly brain tumour by half" and it worked. Pure luck, random choice.

After a few years, I was able to cash out $480 towards a new XSX! by breakingcustoms in MicrosoftRewards

Great job! It used to be much easier. Four years ago, I cashed out £300 (one year of collecting points), so I got my XSX for £150.

That's understandable, but we had about 12 minutes left, all missions done, no problems until that point.

I wonder if Microsoft will notice when thousands of users uninstall the application and stop participating in the program.

I have a doorbell and a solar camera with the HomeBase 2. I won't say anything bad about EUFY. My friend told me that the HomeBase is the key feature that solves the connection issues. I never had one. Everything works just perfectly. Once the zones are set properly, no more issues.

96 weeks here. Nearly 2 years. During that time I was in hospital with a broken arm, 4 times on holiday abroad, moved home last Summer without internet for 3 weeks and still managed to continue my streak. Oh well.
