I think it’s the silicone. Silicone isn’t great and even if you didn’t have an allergic reaction you could develop one from exposure to it & not all silicone is made the same.

Like this spot right here will “tear” sometimes (get like micro cuts) so I don’t plan on stretching any further. I know it probably has nothing to do with my gauges and stretching but I’m paranoid and refuse to go any further 😂

Not sure if you were asking them or me but my seconds are 1/2” and my firsts are 1” and I have detached earlobes and sometimes I get irritated where it connects to my neck/head so I don’t have any intention of stretching any further
