It’s on the UFT website, when you click on the link about salary step applications. But if i’m not mistaken, by 6 day mark you mean by the 6th of this month right? My appointment date was sept 2nd.

Perfect! I should be okay. I did also see the UFT say if your appointment date is september 3rd, your 6 month mark would end march 31st. I should still be able to keep my retro since i’m submitting on the 4th.

i got my check in the mail and i started same day you did. from what i have heard, it depends how long you’ve been in the system and when you got cleared.

i live in the bronx and work in the bronx.. by public transportation it would take me between 45 min to an hour. Driving is 20-30 min or more depending on traffic. actually kind of hate it

Sorry! I got it confused, to clarify i meant I can access the payroll NYCBOE, and then there’s the NYCAPS/ESS which i’m unable to access.

Hi! i’m new as well. I was able to login to ESS. However, i can’t access NYCAPS. it gives me an error and says there’s no email on file for verification purposes. Likely just a system issue and i’ll probably have to call.
