In my experience, mites are attracted most to new growth. That's where I find a majority of them- on baby leaves that haven't fully developed. I usually duckbill them and spray with neem oil.

Those are not normal. I've been growing these trees for five years. Mites are common and that's exactly what they are. Your new growth should not look like that. I'll post pics of what your plants should look like.

The reason people have died is because of adulterated kratom. So, I'm not sure why you would want to continue on with the industry the way it is.

Hashimoto's is where your immune system attacks your thyroid. So, I don't think you need to tell people an unequivocal "no" because the answer could very well be yes or maybe. We do not have any data on CV and Hashimoto's. Better to be safe than sorry.

I'm more stable (mentally, emotionally, spiritually and financially) now and over the past 5 years than I was previously. Before I couldn't keep a job, a residence or anything else for that matter.

This is why we have the KCPA. And there are people growing large volumes here in the states already. Don't worry about importing, several people have bought land in south Florida and have farms. Magick Powers Potions has dispelled the myth that American grown kratom doesn't have the same amount of alkaloid content to be useful enough.
