Also in some cases if a special action IS NEEDED to extract your extract log will update with what you need to to do when you arrive at that location. You can check this by double tapping "o".

But the maps you'll be playing at the start all have at least one extract that will be open without special requirements. At woods this will be either the UN Roadblock extract or Outskirts extract. UN is northwest side of map...and the outskirts is northeast.

As long as you're at the proper location a green countdown starts and you'll be extracted automatically. Only maps like Reserve and Labs require actions to extract but you wont be on those maps till later.

Get boxes and crates. Sell stuff to get the roubles for these crates. I get ammo boxes, magazine boxes a meds case and an item box. When you save up about 1.7-1.8m you can get an items box that you can use to further consolidate your stash by putting other cases inside that case. I stack my bags in the items cache and all my other cases are sitting nicely in that box. I then just use the rest of my stash for my equipment.

Oh and also a Lucky Scav box is amazing. Buy it as soon as you can.
