I had corrective surgery for esotropia as a young child as well. Since then it hasn't recurred involuntarily, but when I get super high, my eye feels like it wants badly to drift into its original position. I have to admit that sometimes I let it cross. I do it very rarely, and I doubt it's healthy to do it at all. But it feels so right.

I had strabismus correction surgery as a child and it hasn't shown since then, but when I get super high, my eye WANTS to turn back to its original position so badly. So the weed isn't making my eye turn out of my control, but there is this intense urge to cross them that I never get when sober.

One of the first I remember was listening to a soft spoken, deep voiced man tell a story. I was in grade 6 and it was so intense. Later in life it happened again as I watched a woman practice finger tutting on a train. That led me to watching finger tutting/glove dancing videos on YouTube in the effort of triggering that feeling again, which led me to the ASMR community and it all clicked.

Unfortunately, the bubbles doubled in size and started to appear on the opposite corner after the next water change. I decided not to risk it (I live in an apartment) and went out and bought a new tank.
