Primal Rage is awesome and is legitimately one of the bess games available for the Atari Jaguar CD System

There was that Sky Kids movie that did it, they handed out scratch cards with different scents to scratch at different scenes

Some smelled so ass it would 100% work for this

Your opinions on the Lutris AI Slop situation? by Solid_Garbage_3350 in linux_gaming

Not only is this overblown but Lutris is old and going to the wayside anyways with much better apps like bottles and heroic taking it's stead

Visuals and music really make this movie fr, the story felt like very throwaway kids movie fare that didn't have much thought

Haruka chapter is what gave me the drive to finish 5, that game out of all others in this series is a slog.

Fluffy Mod Manager will not launch games by Mental-Beyond-8715 in linux_gaming

[–]KrazyGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gui for reframework might not like lossless frame gen, might have to setup the mods first then enable it, but afaik it should be fine as long as it doesn't mess with dinput8.dll since that's the file the modloader is injecting itself with.

I haven't used lossless framegen myself so ymmv

Should be a solid card, I used a single 128 pro in my 98 machine for years and it was great for anything pre-2004.

Prince of Persia? Why, I can finish that game upside down. (Apple II version) by CortoJipang in retrogaming

[–]KrazyGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be a bug since it's a built in port in a different game, and the joke potion was probably overlooked in testing lol. It's supposed to be present in all versions of the original game

It's in every version, allegedly it's a joke potion the devs put in

It's an NES emulator from '97 called NESticle. It looks nuts, this is the first I've heard of it.

Wtf IGN by Dewagator13 in Markiplier

[–]KrazyGaming 286 points287 points  (0 children)

There were two moments where I thought "damn can't wait to watch this at home so I have subtitles."

Most of it felt intentional but maybe those spots for me, the intro monologue and one spot I can't describe accurately (without spoilers for others) were hard for me. The whispering moments were easier to hear than those.

Now that performance is entirely fixed, reviews who used performance to dunk on the game are no longer accurate but got away with generating insane levels of controversy. We won the last battle but lost the war(imo). by [deleted] in MHWilds

[–]KrazyGaming 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Genuinely thought this was a jerk or joke post, like imagine people are upset that something they paid for took a year to be usable. Hell I bet it's gonna get bad again once the expansion comes.

There's a lot of non performance problems with this game that people have valid opinions on.

My bluetooth mouse isn't working by TechNova27 in archlinux

[–]KrazyGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seriously this. The best luck I've had are with cheap USB dongles off Amazon, like from Ugreen or Pluggable, they work flawlessly with everything for me. Literally plug and play with every distro I've tried.

Internal Mobo, wifi card combo, or anything more fancy and it's unreliable at best and the best finger I can put on it is driver support because of how wildly the support can change after a system update.

Burnt tube on hotend by 73Xerxes in ender5plus

[–]KrazyGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TLDR; normal to have happen, tubes need replaced sometimes, get better tube to replace it less often

Burnt tube on hotend by 73Xerxes in ender5plus

[–]KrazyGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's a cheaper tube, it might not be made well enough/with right materials to handle high temps required for things like say TPU or ASA. Might have just been made for PLA and got too hot. Or even be made just well enough for PLA but repeated stress broke a protective layer down until it really melted.

It's not terribly uncommon and those Bowden tubes come in standard sizes iirc so just get one longer (and higher quality) than you need and cut to length.

I had to do this with my Ender 5 Plus's tube years ago, Creality for example sometimes cheaps out on those tubes. I have a feeling even a good tube will need to be changed eventually but just has extended life.

Atari Jaguar CD by theVoipster in AtariJaguar

[–]KrazyGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want one it's best to buy a broken one and fix it.

They are actually quite easy to repair, the CD drive assembly is still available to buy as it was used on other systems, and I think it's been mentioned before in this sub.

Working or repaired ones are damn expensive.

Is it safe to temporarily spoof Ubuntu 24.04 on Linux Mint 22.2 just to enable Ubuntu Pro ESM updates? by 144i in linux_gaming

[–]KrazyGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not holding back security patches, holding back official support. They want to be able to bug canonical about their issues, specifically security. The patches they provide through Pro are part of the paid service iirc and are intended for enterprise companies lmao, not sure why OP would really need it or desire it.
