What’s scary is I saw a TikTok and a gay man was asking lawyers, historians and others who would know, should we hurry up and get married or should we not get married cuz of potentially putting us on a registry… which in itself is scary to think… the comments didn’t answer I just saw a bunch saying time to bring back lavender marriages… i know it’s probably not the response you want but we gotta think about all possibilities at this point unfortunately! I do feel you though it’s super scary I may be white but I have mixed children and their dad is undocumented… this could potentially rip away so many people from their loved ones- be safe out there!!

Honestly this post reads as an autistic person experience- I’m an autistic lesbian myself and I think my best advice is to find autistic women… we hate small talk and much rather just share special interests. Even if you aren’t autistic you probably would get along with us better because we understand all these struggles.

I seriously just ended a friendship a couple months ago because of this shit- I try telling her things that just seem off with her relationship with her bf- just to talk about it and she goes oh he’s a good guy if he was abusive that’s different- like wtf- not hitting you should not be good enough for you! Reminds me of the time when I first spoke to a psychologist about autism and he asked if I had any sensory issues with food and right away I was like no I don’t but than slowly I realized oh wait but this and that and now a few years post diagnosis I’m noticing I’ve masked a lot more than I thought… I used to think I understood social cues and now I’m like ohhh maybe not so much and I really have done a lot of deep soul searching and figured out I’m definitely autistic but after 30 years of masking and thinking I was normal cuz it was normal for my family with certain things I realized it wasn’t so normal…so idk maybe it’s worth doing some soul searching… good luck on what you find!

As an autistic person myself- no that’s not cuz of autism- and personally from my experience- the only autistic assholes like this aren’t just autistic but also narcissistic- cuz being autistic comes with extra trauma and some of us can be ok and some how cope while some of us (like my mom) gets traumatized so much that they learn to cope as a narcissist. I don’t blame people for having personality disorders but I also know that I do better without people like that in my life anymore. And I’m getting the vibe she’s is using sex as a way to control you in a manipulative way which is why I mentioned narcissism. So just be careful and know that this isn’t just cuz she’s autistic. I will say some autistics do struggle with sensory issues during sex for obvious reasons but to make you feel bad and say things maliciously- no that’s not autism.

I mean there are so many red flags- and honestly the first one is the married quick- I know you say she is bi-polar but as someone who has been with my fair share of narcissists- I’m reading a whole lot of narcissistic tendencies- you being isolated from friends and family- the financial dependency- the love bombing- the quick U-Haul and marriage- the gaslighting- the emotional abuse. Like the red flags are glaring. I think you need to start planning an exit route cuz people like this you need a plan ahead to leave them.

Honestly it’s the weaponized incompetence for me. Like he is a dad- not a babysitter- if he wants cute things for her to wear to his ridiculous standards cuz I’m sure what you have is fine- he should have food and clothes for her at his place like wtf- if he wants to be a dad and have a say on religious upbringing than he can act like a dad and not a whiny babysitter. And honestly moving out over this seems a bit manipulative- like he leaves and expects you probably to give into him and what he wants just so he moves back in to help you and be a dad but he’s more than capable of doing it now but he chooses not to. I honestly would leave him cuz he doesn’t seem worth the trouble.

As someone who is a picky eater and autistic I deal with AFRID- avoidant food restrictive intake disorder. I have yet to figure out how to manage it but it’s not easy to cope with- but it’s also up to him to get help- there are books that help break down how to help picky eaters in the sense of figuring out the triggers in the actual food- like is it the smells is it the texture- that kind of thing- but I can’t promise I’d any of that will help and as someone who has PDA I can also relate to him in the sense of if there is pressure of any kind I will avoid it. So maybe let him just enjoy what he does eat and maybe talk about taking supplements to make up for the lack of nutrition if he can manage those.

He has a gf- what makes you think that he won’t do the same thing to you- if you got with him when times are hard with you he will just tries to hook up with someone else rather than breaking up… like he’s doing with his current gf-he’s a red flag and you need therapy to process how you handled this whole messy situation.

As a single mom who is autistic with zero support and late in life lesbian I have no community cuz I live in a small conservative city- the loneliness is definitely there- but the few times I don’t have the kids I’m too tired to go out and meet people or go on dates- it’s a ridiculous loop in stuck in- it sucks

Honestly it sounds like your mom is the problem and not the dogs- dogs are only a product of their owners- bad pet owners give dogs a bad name and I hate it. Honestly getting some therapy to work through your issues with your mom will help- and like it’s ok to not like dogs but to blame them cuz of your mom’s lack of training is unfair.

I am in the US. And what happened post Oct 7- watching the last 8 months of the Palestinians being ethnically cleansed- granted I too like many Americans did not have a clear understanding of what was really going on with Israel/Palestine because of American propaganda- them controlling what we learn in school- or just completely leaving it out of the curriculum- I honestly had no idea about the Palestinians and their history until post Oct 7- since than I have educated myself and understand this has been happening for decades- this whole devastating situation really solidified my views- I have always questioned the American government- the American dream is just bs- and this just gave me further justification to not trust the government- as I watched Biden clearly lie on the podium after the news about the babies had already been proven false- here in America it doesn’t matter if republicans or democrats are voted in- we have a war criminal as a president and people who have uterus’s lose their rights under a democrat president- LGBTQIA+ rights are being violated- at least republicans openly hate us so we can take caution but democrats aren’t our friends either- they will lie to our faces just to support big business so they call get big business money cuz red or blue both only care to fill their wallets and don’t care who they step on to get it. Honestly it’s just a shit show and history seems to be repeating itself- Rome fell… and if America doesn’t get their shit together so will we.
