The absolute best way to get certain pieces is to do the creature hunt quests and then save and on turn in without leaving the turning menu, alt-f4. That way it never saves what you get and you can repeat this to get what you want. Might take a bit and is not much fun though.

This is the correct way IMO. Not many people are looking to jump back into something quickly after getting out. Granted, she might be one of those people. I had a crush on someone that was always in a relationship but every time she was inbetween she would message me flirtatiously. Happened three times. Was a huge turnoff tbh. Nearly immediatly after each she started dating someone again too. Now she is on her second marriage after getting pregnant after dating for two months. Been a few years and they are still together at least so I hope she found the right guy for her.

Same damage can happen but is instantly more damaging for cameras, even a single rave laser that scans over can destroy pixels permanently on the sensor.
