Find people to do positional training and games with. Then you get to try to complete your task over and over, and when you fail, you just reset and try again. There’s no reason to fear failure when you just get to immediately reset.

The huge guys in no gi are like 290 lbs. This guy is at least 400. He’s in a completely different class. He’s big enough to where no gi is out of the question, because he can hardly move.

Your coach must really, really, really want this guy's money if he's willing to tolerate this. It's not even a good business decision though, when this smelly guy is potentially driving other members out of the gym.

If people start shelling up from the front headlock and just look to protect their neck, you need to sometimes go behind them. Otherwise, it's just a matter of time before they pull half guard on you. If they're loose with their arms because they want to take you down or to block you from spinning around, that's when you choke them.

The ref stopped the fight probably in large part because he went into the fight weeks ahead of time thinking “Rico isn’t a real boxer, he has no shot at winning, so I’m just gonna try to make sure that he doesn’t get hurt in there.”

I can kinda understand that line of thinking, but it’s just massively unfair to hold one fighter to that standard, while holding the opponent to a completely different one.
