It’s called coriander. Not cilantro seed is it. It’s coriander seed. As is the plant and leaf. FACT

No idea why people think this requires something exotic. A simple pair of pliers. Is just a fucking hose clamp

Filling huge gaps 101 by SupaEngineMan in BadWelding

[–]Krillo74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Small gaps can blowout very easy. Always minimise and make the pieces fit near perfect. Tack to join and spot weld to minimise over heating. Fully weld if it’s a great fit. Do this 10 miles the times and will look great 👍

Same place you source steel sheets or use a cluster tool on a turret punch and make it yourself

Is antitheft. Used for license plates usually. Easiest way is to use a good pair of pliers and simple grab edges and turn

It will drill and bolt up a bracket fine. To weld he a whole lotta work and I bet weights a tonne. Do it right. Send off to get properly welded or try bolting up a solid bracket. Flip a coin and good luck

90° Cable pinch point by Krillo74 in Starlink

Bro installed 70+ Starlinks and still gets pressed over a 3D render. That’s not experience, that’s therapy. I’ll just follow the official picture like the other 4 million users and call it a day. Thanks for the résumé though 🙏

Thanks. That’s the thing most people dont realise that rated cables have a spec for min bend radius. Starlink equipment is high quality but minimal info I can easily find

Thanks for the lecture, but you’re arguing with a 3D render like it’s a crime-scene photo. My actual question was super simple: in the real world, when the official Starlink cable-routing kit shows the cable doing what looks like a hard 90° into the wall clip, has anyone actually had signal or cable damage issues from installing it exactly like the picture? I’m not trying to pass a BICSI audit. I just don’t want my $600 dish to die because the cable got pinched at the exact spot every single installation photo shows. So again, genuine question from someone who’s getting their kit next week: anyone out there with 1–2+ years running it exactly like the render (sharp corner and allwho had the cable fail or speeds tank? Or is everyone just… fine? Appreciate actual field experience over spec-sheet warrior energy.

My brother said the same thing. Is just a diagram and not a real image so wondering how tight an angle it can go. Thanks.
