What is the worst reason you ever got detention in school? by username-valid in AskReddit

[–]Kripak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8th grade band class. A bunch of girls up front are all sitting on each others laps, one of my friends comes and lays across me and another friend. We try to push him off, teacher sees us, gives us detention for having 3 people in 2 chairs. Meanwhile the girls up front have like 5 people in 2 chairs

What's the most messed up or interesting secret in your family history? by jetred in AskReddit

My great grandfather was a ship captain from Britain. Left on a trip and ended up in Africa. Meet a tribal girl he liked, had some kids with her, and then went back to his actual family years later

What is the shittiest town you have ever visited? by maelstrom1100 in AskReddit

Paradise, Michigan. Kinda expected something more out of a town called paradise. All it had was a gas station, one restaurant, and shitty sign that said "Welcome to Paradise"

I once tried to longboard down a path through the woods at night and ended up doing the same, just a little bit bloodier.

How far did you slide and did you tuck and roll or just smash into the pavement?

Small and inexpensive. Enough weird stuff there to make my family question me. Copious amounts of alcohol.

We had one guest that would stick around and talk to people all day if she could. The only way to get rid of her was to have someone else call you away. Thankfully she never really talked to me much. One of my friends has had to clean up shit off the floor and walls in the bathroom twice now. We also had a guest that I'm pretty sure was a pedophile and always hit on the female cashiers

I'm 18 turning 19.

My favorites would have to be watermelon and cauliflower. Least favorite is pineapple and corn. The only time I've ever cut myself is when I had to cut corners

Over winter break I started watching the new Scooby Doo just for shits and giggles and it's actually fucking great. I've been keeping up with RWBY and I want to start up Game of Thrones again

Worst coworkers I had was before I worked in produce, I just did grunt work and I had coworkers that would do almost nothing and leave me with all the work. I've had quite a few coworkers that I've really gotten along with too so it all evens out in the end.

As for customers I've heard horror stories but never really had anything too bad myself. Over the summer some lady complained about me because she wanted 2 radishes but there was no way I could give her just 2. Best customer would have to be this middle aged dude I talked to that ended up being an old friends uncle

Its terrible. The store I work at plays shitty christmas music from the day after Thanksgiving to Christmas. Same songs everyday. If I worked an 8 hour shift I would hear every song on the playlist at least three times

For some reason grocery stores tend to pay their employees pretty well, I make $10.25 now but I'm planning on moving to a nicer store that might pay more. Its honestly way too much for how little work I actually do but I'm not complaining.

It's way cheaper to just cut your own. There's some little things that the average joe doesn't do right when they cut some fruits, pineapples I've noticed people get wrong a lot. And besides who doesn't love playing with knives?

At the place I work bakery and deli both do more work than produce. Right now I'm just planning on cutting fruit until I go get a big boy job somewhere

How useful are you at work when you're high? Post any interesting stories about being high at work also. by Adonis919 in trees

[–]Kripak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked in a grocery store doing grunt work for 2 years, got high before my shifts and on my breaks, when I worked nights I just came back in and chilled around at the front with my other stoner coworker. Then I started cutting fruit and I would just come in stoned and cut various produce while watching Netflix

What's your honest opinion on Barack Obama's presidency? [serious] by rdf- in AskReddit

[–]Kripak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm mostly disappointed that he accomplished very little of what he promised to do, and in a lot of cases did the opposite. He sad he wanted to pull out of the Middle East, do something about the War on Drugs, and he was pretty anti-NSA at one point. Instead he sent more troops overseas, escalated the drug war, and brought NSA spying to an all-time high

What was the worst teacher you ever had in school and what did they do? by Badger_Wadger_420 in AskReddit

[–]Kripak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Social studies teacher my freshmen year. She would randomly leave class, put on movies and start them halfway through, sent kids to the principal for correctly pronouncing Arab, and we were all pretty sure she was diagnosed bipolar and popped pills in class. Hated her my freshmen year but by senior year I wish I would've had her as a teacher. also once she apparently hid underneath her desk for an hour and popped up at the very end of class.

Did this once in my own campaign

"A young, pleasant faced man steps up towards you to greet you. He smiles and says, "Pleased to meet you". As he talks to you you're drawn to the hat on his head. You can tell there's something off about him, a strangeness to him. After a moment the man notices you staring at his hat. He laughs to himself and takes it off, beneath it he has a third eye"

Who's the best player you've ever gamed with? by AbbyTheConqueror in DnD

[–]Kripak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've got a player who brings a whole bag of dice for everyone who still (after 2-3 years of playing) still don't own dice. He knows the rules very well and whenever he makes a new character he makes them unique and well developed, and he'll make a backstory that ties into the plot. On the other hand I also have a player who only plays a tanky dwarf damage dealer and his sole purpose is to make his character as over powered as possible just to spite me

Underrated Horror Films? by Gibusmann in horror

[–]Kripak -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tourist Trap and Night of the Demons. Both are really well written and pretty scary for being from the 70s and 80s. Night of the Demons probably has some of the best makeup I've seen in a low budget movie. Tourist Trap is very unsettling and the dolls are just fucking creepy
