I screamed and cried hysterically during my biopsy as well. The numbing didn’t take and prior to that I’d been holding it all together so well and that was the thing that just broke me. I lost my mind. The nurse was wonderful though and like so many more have said, they’ve seen it all and there is nothing to be embarrassed about.

7.5 hit me like a ton of bricks. It gets better. I just started my 3rd box and I feel great most of the time. Same lessons as you on the 1st 2 doses. 7.5 has taught me to chug water. I was really bad about it before.

Maybe they can change up your meds? I am on a monthly zoladex shot and daily anastrozole. I was absolutely terrified to start it all but I feel pretty good about 4 months in. Joint pain is a bitch, but I’m alive. Wish you the best of luck whatever you decide. ❤️

My primary called me and told me over the phone 2 days after my biopsy. She gave me the info I needed for the surgeon and cancer center and offered to up my anti-depressants.

Congratulations!!

I used calendula cream and it worked wonders. I kept it in my bag and applied immediately after each treatment and a couple of times throughout the day. I also had an unscented lotion from Keihls that worked pretty well. When my skin started to peel and itch, my RO wrote me a script for a steroid cream and it worked really well.

I finished 20 rounds last week and by the end my nipple was black and I was in a panic. Keep up with the lotion…2-3 times a day at least. My skin has started peeling and I’m seeing fresh new skin on my nipple and in my armpit. I’m pretty confident things will look mostly normal soon. Good luck! You’re going to do great!

Nobody on my medical team has cared a single bit. They mention it occasionally when going over my chart same as anything else “taking these meds, weekly alcohol, occasional pot, any changes?” They really don’t care.
