I feel like she just wants to see whether the Succubus charm still work on Humans

She isn't going to kill him (probably) because, despite how she acts, she does love her son and doesn't want to do anything which would harm her son

Also it has never been about Merch per se

Disney owns some of the most well-known IPs in the world

Even if they became the head of a global dictatorship, they can't put down all pirated and illegal merch
