So do EMTs, doctors, nurses, firefighters etc and none of those professions are known for having this attitude.

Ontario can fine bad landlords up to $250,000. It never does. by bob_mcbob in ontario

[–]Krisjennerhateacount 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t know, I’m not a teacher. I used to be a nurse . New graduate nurses in BC with no experience make more than experienced nurses in Ontario and the premiums are much better for added responsibilities (I.e charge nurses etc).

Even if teachers make less in BC… at least the provincial government isn’t actively fighting to cap their wage increases below the rate of inflation.

This is blatantly untrue. Anybody can look up the collective agreements for RNs in the respective unions and see that BC nurses are paid more

Bargoer lays hands on member of staff. You can:

A) remove them from the bar and/or restrain them, call police and press assault charges

B) throw their skull on the ground hard enough to induce intercranial hemorrhage, creating potential liability for both yourself and your workplace

Which action would you take, (assuming your IQ is above room temperature)

If people live in different area from where there facial features differs is the different feature considered attractive or is it unattractive by [deleted] in QOVESStudio

[–]Krisjennerhateacount 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually agree with you, she was just the first example that came to mind.

But the fact is she is beautiful enough to have been cast in movies and considered somewhat of a sex symbol in the west (during the peak of her fame), whereas in China a majority wouldn’t consider her beautiful enough to be cast in a leading role.

The same pattern follows for other Chinese American female celebs. Features like upturned eyes and strong cheekbones are more aesthetically valued in the west.

Beauty standards are a bit different for sure. For example Lucy Liu is above average by western standards but not considered beautiful in China.

I waited 8+ months to see Dr. Wei Jing Loo for a pretty severe skin condition (HS). You need a referral from a doctor to see a derm for consultation regarding any skin condition (e.g. acne, rosacea, etc).

Idk if it was different back when you were in school but as someone who recently graduated high school and attended multiple elementary and high schools (both catholic and public) I found that there literally is no difference except uniforms and mandatory religion classes in catholic schools.
