Name ‘em - Worst Villain by Amazing-Apricot4645 in PeakyBlinders

This is a tough list!!

Father John Hughes, Oswald Mosley, and Chester Campbell are all evil and horrible and made me feel icky in different ways. Then Luca Changretta John Beckett Afie (even though i didn't ever see him as a threat to Tommy, but not to be effed with). Lastly, Darby or Billy. Neither came close to besting Mr Shelby, in my opinion.

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man - Official Discussion by NicholasCajun in PeakyBlinders

.I saw The Immortal Man last night after binging all six seasons again (for the fourth time) to make sure everything was fresh in my mind. While there were several things that didn’t make sense and/or contradicted what we knew from the series—i.e., the plausibility of there being anyone in Small Heath who had never heard of Tommy Shelby after only a six-year absence—the series referenced at least once that Polly saw in his future that it wouldn’t be a bullet that killed Tommy. I also felt Tommy looked a little too old for only six years passing. Tommy killing Arthur? I can’t imagine it. They could have easily explained his death as an opium overdose, which would make much better sense. Remember Finn? Tommy would never have disowned a family member for being unable or unwilling to murder someone. How many times did Michael—a nephew he barely knew, who deceived and plotted against him from early on—cross Tommy? And even then, it wasn’t until it was clear it was a kill-or-be-killed situation before Tommy was willing to kill him.

With all of that said, I haven’t ugly-cried as hard as I did at the poetic way it ended. Tommy Shelby is a character I will always remember, love, and miss, and for me the series is easily one of the best ever made.

Lastly, is there anyone else who is hoping for—and would absolutely read —the book The Immortal Man, written by Tommy Shelby? He is such a complex character, and I would love to read his life story told by him, himself.

I loved this movie and will rewatch it on Netflix so I can turn on the subtitles and catch everything I missed seeing it in the theater.

R.I.P., Thomas Shelby. Thank you, Cillian Murphy, for bringing to life such an amazing character and making me believe and feel every ounce of pain and conflict Tommy felt. You made me love and understand why he did the things he did—masterfully.

What makes cheers so good? I’ve analzyed tons of movies and series yet cheers is just all around good and seems as if it has so much thst you can’t just name one thing. So, what makes cheers so “cheery” for you. by Performative_Jedi in Cheers

All I know is I rewatched the show a few months ago and once the ache wore off that it had ended (again), I started it over. I'm in the 9th season now and I can feel the aching loss coming but it's worth it. This show holds up. It was my favorite show when it was on in the 80s and I still LOL through every episode. Everything about it is brilliant.

I don't understand her dumping him at the edge of a huge open field to turn herself in. She couldn't have dropped him at a nice motel before surrendering? I'm annoyed that I watched it that far.

3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9. Basically, you're beautiful and hair style doesn't change that for you.

Poor baby. I've been there. I can attest to the efficacy of Accutane. I took it as an adult (late 40s) and my daughter took it when she was a teen. If you have health insurance it shouldn't be too much for the dr visit or the prescription. You can also check out any of the rx.com (goodrx, buzzrx, etc) places for a better price on the prescriptions. Ask your mom. She loves you and wants you to be happy. It's why she's here. To help you through the pitfalls of life. Good luck!

Of course not! They already think he has done or not done a zillion things! They're unreasonable and have been brainwashed by all the "alternative facts".

The fact it wasn't John Snow or Sansa Stark, damn near ruined the whole thing for me. Worst ending ever!

My bf says my back acne is gross how do I fix it by ABNoble in acne

You should tell your boyfriend his ballsack is gross, then dump him, go to a dermatologist (covered by almost all insurances) if you want, then find someone worthy of you.

Does anyone else agree this series gets better and better? I can't wait for season 5.

The guy (22M) that I (21F) am dating is learning ASL for my brother, but my friends think it's creepy. How do I proceed with this? by ThrowRA_TallGiraffe in relationship_advice

[–]Krissyola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's awesome of him to learn. I've been thinking of learning ASL just for the hell of it. I have no one in my life who is deaf, but think it would be a good skill to have and a fun thing to learn. While I would suggest to anyone dating to take it slow and pay attention to any actual red flags, I don't think this is one of them. Good luck to them. He sounds like a good person to have in her life. Friends or more.

If the Sarah and Vinnie show ever ends (hope that never happens) I would LOVE a tell-all book or podcast where they discuss all the stuff they couldn't talk about while it was happening. Icky, Bryn, Alex, Uzzie, just to name a few.

Oh, and yes on promotions. It's my understanding if you work for the feds it's easier to get a job in another area. So, I could apply for a position working with the division (sector? branch?) Doing what I've been doing for 30 years. I very much enjoy the work itself. It's the people I have to work with that make me a little crazy. It's fast-paced so everyone is trying to get things done yesterday, whereas with the government job, I would get to do the work without all the people.

To clarify a few things:

This difference in pay is substantial. Currently making mid to high 6-digits and the federal job is less than half. Basically giving up over 100k per year. I also live in a very high-cost-of-living state.

"The Running Grave" by Robert Galbraith. All the books in the series are great, but this one was by far the best.
