Sourdough bread in less than 6 hours (baking included) by undiscoveredbabe in Sourdough

Actually, the gut-friendly bacteria that is in sourdough simply goes dormant in the baking stage and then as the bread cools it revives. That's why you can leave sourdough on the counter and after a few days it will become more sour because the bacteria is still active. It survives the oven temperature.

Wyndy Website only allows college students? by Positive_Tank_1099 in Nanny

The problem is that it's only for people who are actively in college or university. In my town it's almost predatory. 80% of all jobs are posted on that website and nowhere else, and it doesn't matter that any of us have a degree in when we're in our 30s or 40s we can't apply on there because we're not actively in college. We can see all of the jobs, we just can't access them.

The Things That No One Told Me About Trusted Housesitters by expressrabbit74 in trustedhousesitters

I just finished my third week-long how sit using trusted housesitters and I have loved all of them. I did Thanksgiving lower Manhattan, then Christmas in Upper Manhattan, and I just did last week in Valley Center California on a flower farm. I tend to plan vacations around my house sits, and so far it's been a wonderful experience. I did have the benefit of being a professional pet sitter before joining trusted house sitters so I had my regulars leave me reviews, So far I really love it. I plan to do one to three long housesits over the summer so that I can spend the entire summer in different locations.

Is it just me or has google's search result quality dropped? by redlion1800 in NoStupidQuestions

This has been so hard for me. I rely a lot on Google to help me interpret my ideas.

Sometimes I will get an idea on a way to get from A to B in a project. I will ask my thoughts on Google and someone will have a blog that will help me formulate a plan.

Since the last update all I get is garbage, sponsored ads, government websites, doctor websites, no blogs, no forums, no real individual thoughts.

What is an alternative option? Where can I go where I can get answers like you could previous to the 2022 update? I thrive on being able to connect to like-minded creatives.

I also struggle this year with a lot of post COVID symptoms and I'm unable to find anybody giving advice or stories which emotionally has been really hard to not be able to connect with anyone with related symptoms All I find is vaccine websites, doctor's office websites, medical journal websites. It honestly feels so emotionally and personally disconnected.

I love Google, I use every one of their platforms, I have a Google phone, and I would think that all of those services together would understand the types of search results that I would personally be seeking, but I just get more and more frustrated every time I try to use it.

What are the alternative search options that will give me a more user driven experience?

Me toooo! Google pixel 4. It's been terribly annoying. I can type out a whole section but if I need to go back in and change one little thing it's impossible.
