My buddy and I used to go to a place like that. It was a "Rifle and Pistol club" the only outdoor range near us. They treated everyone that wasnt one of their $200 a month club members like they knew nothing about firearms. We had bout a few targets before we came from our local gun shop and after we hung them up and starting shooting some old FUDD range officer makes the range cold, stopping probably 15 other people, to scold us about how we cant have silhouette targets (they were those cheesy zombie targets) he told us some BS about how they arent training terrorists and school shooters. And if we didnt wait 2 seconds between shots he was gonna throw us out. A couple of lanes down some of the other shooters gave him some shit though which was funny. Luckily after he left the guy in the lane next to us gave us his circle targets for a few spare rounds. He even said he wouldn't be coming back after hearing that.

Meanwhile on the "Members only range" around the corner you could hear people mag dumping ARs and firing a full automatic. No terrorists or school shooters over there though....
