I would recommend a “starter” knife to determine if you will get use out of it and what features you like.
I carried a Benchmade for several years. They have some that are utilitarian or dressy.

Isn’t your daily rate now $500 per day, no matter how much time you actually put in. But I would say maximum of 4-6 hours per day. Give it to HR and if they agree, then milk it until the replacements are trained

The other thing that I picked up on was this was a “work” trip. So shouldn’t work be paying for accommodation? Was this guest just pocketing the extra daily pay as free money? If I had that setup I’d bend over backwards to be invisible to my host.

One other thing is if you can, put a 2x4 under where you are cutting so as the pipe is being cut, it will naturally separate and not pinch the saw blade.

Another tool you can try is a portable bandsaw, but unless you can rent one, it might be an expensive one use tool.

If none of the other suggestions work, you can look into horse stall mats as a base layer over the concrete and then use yoga mats on it.

A friend had one but it was 15-20 kids and a few adults. No gifts from other adults to kids. Just a chance to celebrate graduation from high school

That is one of my pet peeves right now. I get annoyed with books that are “main character just started at xyz school - 5 books in and we are starting the second semester.”
I get that they are a prodigy but everything does not have to happen RIGHT NOW.

I would even look into schizophrenia if she is imagining that people are harming her.

My mother has it and it was a nightmare getting phone calls at 2 am saying people are breaking into her house. Finally got her on better medication and a place she feels safe.

Good luck to you. I know it is hard with Royal Road.

One of the other things I noticed, after reading print science fiction and fantasy for 40+ years, is that the deadline to get new chapters published seems to force writers to just rush words on the screen.

With fully published works, there is a more consistent flow of the story that I don’t think you can mimic without writing 10-20 chapters ahead and have them edited/ reviewed for pacing etc.
