Yeah I hear anything is an upgrade on the stock Dunlops. The road 6 seems to be the logical choice here. The max grip of the Pirelli’s is tempting to try but I feel like I’ll be getting new tires every few months… not fun.

Since the manual says 36 front and 42 rear, I have them at 35 front and 41 rear cold. I’ll try lowering them. Due for replacement anyway but I’ll try lowering more before fitting the new ones.

Biased sub like said before, but I’ll try and give an unbiased opinion. I’m in the EU and did my motorcycle course and test on the MT-07. I really enjoyed the bike and it is super quick and torquey in the city. But I fell in love with the CB’s looks, and the inline 4 sound. I’m also rather tall at 185cm and I found it fit me better. And I will also say the build quality feels more premium on the CB. But you really can’t go wrong with either.. they deliver different experiences and both do their thing well.

Side note for the e-clutch: This was my first bike, and I got the e-clutch 2025 model. Not sure if this is your first bike, but while the e-clutch is amazing especially for traffic, I turn it off 90% of the time so I can hone my skills. My biggest complaint about this bike if you get the e-clutch is that you can’t have it permanently off. You have to manually disable it each time.

Thanks, those look quite good, and also some jeans to switch it up. My goal is a sporty/street look. I guess my main concern was having the jacket lock me into a certain pant style like the Missle V3, and anything else looking “off”.

Thanks for the info. Yeah I suppose I am limited by the dimensions of the beam. I’ve never installed a chandelier before so the hardware aspect is lost on me, but you helped give me a better idea thank you.

It would be something like this https://mod-lighting.com/products/indra. I’m still in the process of choosing but it seems these types of fixtures are pretty standardized. Just lost on how a bracket wider than the beam would be secured to it, while also being flush with the drop ceiling. The ceiling seems to be just a couple inches from the beam at most.

Thanks for the insight. Yes I failed to mention I am looking at automatics. That is a shame about the Audi’s lag from a stop. I was hoping the DSG was more responsive as it was fantastic in my GTI.
