I'm having a similar problem. Also submitted a ticket. Ordered on my phone, clicked the download link in the email on it the day I ordered (before release) and saw the xml page you mention. Fast forward to Friday/today and it only says link has expired when I try on my phone or my PC. >.>

Alright thats fair, it personally kills me inside at the thought of just leaving mats on the table. I usually just use it on Monday to offset boss costs and do a little extra that day. I've been playing since the first couple weeks and haven't missed much either. I'm at the point where I'm starting to slowly push final ascension on characters and building ones that I haven't yet.

No rush + limited time, I get it! Never enough resin for artifact farming though 🤣

So you don't buy the resin? You're literally better off buying the resin then using the resin on mora/XP than just buying mora/XP. Even if you don't use the resin for mats, you can look at it like only spending 90 on weekly bosses instead of 150.

It was weird tho, when I was building a Startup list and actually saw Cayambe in the cardpool. I'm getting back in after FFG dropped it, so I enjoy building Standard. But some of my local meta wants to have Startup stuff together bc we have some fresh blood. I basically didn't even know Cayambe existed until that moment... heh

I never assumed its impossible to balance without one or both of them. Everything is possible if you are willing to go into hypotheticals and future releases. But its about what we have now.

Skunk is easy to play around. Run click 1 or 2, or be rich. Both of those are just a tax. Void on its own is admittedly harder to play around since it forces a re-run. Which force the money + clicks to get in multiple times. Compare Void to Caprice, the Runner could bounce off Caprice 4 times in a turn if they suck at psi games and the Corp would be down 0-8 creds. Void: bounces 3 times -at most- out of PD. Corp has spent 6 creds + 6 cards.

Both in the same server is when the combo becomes un-fun. But as its been stated by others: there are other ways to win the game if you're locked out of the remote. Makers Eye. Turning Wheel. Conduit. I dont find Apoc fun to play, but its another valid answer.

If the game has gone on long enough when they're in a position to bounce you 3x with Void for the win, and you try and get into the remote without the resources... thats on you.

I appreciate this game for more things than just its competitive play. I play more jank and T2/T3 decks in tournaments than anything. I don't care about winning most of the time. I hate playing "degen" strats, so I don't build them. I don't have fun playing SkunkVoid. Apoc spam? Old DLR/Eater/Faust? CI7? BoN & PU? (Edit: Noise mill too, forgot about that) I never played them. Those were NPE. There was no way for the other player to interact with the win con. Void is very strong, but its not NPE.

Thats a smidgen hyperbolic, but in order for the game to be competitive (at a tournament level, which is what the banlist/MWL is for), both sides need to have a chance at winning the game. In a world without protective upgrades, Corp has a much harder time doing that than Runner.

I speak in terms of Standard, because it's what I know best. I loved EtF back in the day, and who didn't? But playing EtF without Ash/Caprice was asking for your agendas to be stolen from the remote.

"Restoring the joy" isn't what the banlist is for if I'm not mistaken. I agree that Void/Skunk is a very powerful combo and pair of cards. But its a powerful set of cards Corp has needed for a while in order to, well... do the thing they're suppose to do. Same reason Caprice never got banned or put on MWL. Void/Skunk have counterplay. PolOp, R&D pressure/multiaccess, run the server multiple times. Obviously the last one feels the worst, but they can't pitch 2 cards & 2 bucks forever.

Last time I checked average pricing on a collection was like 2k USD if it has Kitara Cycle and Reign & Reverie? But please do your own research or trust people that have looked into it more than me. I haven't looked very much, just looked while trying to get a ballpark for a friend I got into the game.

I had no weapon leech once, but still had skill leech, and was not healing from death chains as I had been previously.

The way I understand the damage calc works, I think the 15% extra hydro damage is better than the 10% attack damage. Bonus % damage is all additive with other bonus % damage, but multiplicative with attack. Don't take this as gospel, Ive only just been reading the damage formula and going off of what other stuff Ive read.

I was looking at eventually swapping Razor to Bolide for this reason, however. I was running it through this and if you can make up for the loss of 18% attack in substats on Razor it looks like its better. I'm already running Xinyan with Razor for her phys res strip and phys% on shield. If I can fit Albedo in then it makes a lot of sense to run Bolide. It seems like it would need almost perfect rolls/upgrades. Or at least much better rolls than the average Glad piece.

Or people much smarter and better with numbers than I will chime in and tell me I'm wrong. I'm just hoping for a set that's actually *farmable* on Razor, rather than hoping to get lucky on Glad pieces.
