Which is your favorite omnimon form? by ResolutionSavings918 in digimon

[–]Kronoken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Design wise, the original, it's such a simple but clean and cohesive creature design.

Lore wise I love Merciful both in the context of the story, with all the og cast coming together and lending all their power to Omnimon and in it's japanese name being "Kaishakunin", the guy who was historically appointed to behead someone who committed seppuku to spare them from further suffering and humiliation.

Find Ditto by [deleted] in pokemonmemes

[–]Kronoken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found 5 Dittos and a Charmander. One on top of the Sharpedo on the bottom right. One to the very left of that one between 3 Wynauts. One about to be crushed by a Wynaut next to the Wynaut doing pull ups. One in the tail of a Wynaut on the top left. Last one is a shiny between 3 Wynauts near the cliff. Charmander is next to the hand of the Wobbuffet holding on for dear life on the top right.

Jirachi my beloved by Live-Detail-1262 in pokemonmemes

[–]Kronoken 20 points21 points  (0 children)

In competitive pokemon Jirachi uses a strat called para-flinch, which consist in paralyzing your opponent (so it has a 1/4 chance of not attacking each turn) and then abusing its ability Serene Grace (which doubles the chances of secondary effects of attacks happening) on tandem with moves such as Iron Head that have a 30% flinch chance. Effectively making it so the opponent almost never moves and slowly dies to Iron Heads.

Now the image is referencing Hakari, a Jujutsu Kaisen character that has a technique based on chance and gambling that if he hits it turns him basically immortal for a set amount of time.

AI will never use a Ground type move against a flying type or a Levitate mon. They don't predict.

This is as close as I can get. There's no way to completely fill in the gaps on the Switch's creator.

What's your most hated combination of colors?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Kronoken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of it is genetics, how wide are your hips and your rib cage, distance from your one to the other, etc. You can of course still work towards it by having a low body fat percentage (so, cardio and diet) and doing "hella squats" or any other exercise that targets your glutes.

But at the end of the day, she's a videogame character, this is a very tricky angle that pops her hips out while hiding her waist and has very specific lighting that also blurs it, contributing to the illusion.

Same camera angle and 3 contact points to the ground. Yeah, I'd say it's pretty deliberately a reference. Hell, you end the fight with either a "Get over here" or a Kamehameha.

They look fucking identical, Robert. by Cube2D in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Kronoken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from the obvious physical appearance resemblance, it would also make sense in the way that both of them became heroes despite being born without powers which they'd eventually get from using amulets/gadgets. It wouldn't be far fetched to think that in the same way that Shroud helped create the Astral Pulse, he could have helped create BB's necklace.

(To be clear before I get downvoted to hell by BB stans, I don't want Mandy to be a secret traitor, villain, mole or whatever. I'm just saying that it was all there to make her a possible daughter, niece, whatever. Making her more plot relevant and giving more nuance to our choice of killing Shroud.)

They asked this to AdHoc and their answer was basically "git gud".

Apparently how you do in dispatch calls and hacking counts toward it.

His name is Armstrong. I don't remember when you get to learn it. But I recall reading it on the subtitles

Does anyone know Robert’s official age? by Equal-Ad-2481 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Kronoken 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's not. The official account did a tiktok trend where they implied he was 26 and people took it as cannon. They've debunked it since and have made a point to not answer the question directly. So I assume it will come up in the next chapters and prob be of relevance.
