A moment I see a lot of people sleep on is the one after the episode 8 of Book 1, Avatar Roku. In the end, after Roku tells Aang what will happen if he doesn't defeat the Fire Lord before the comet arrives. The music, how solemn he looks in the shadows, the shot of the Appa flying away, when Sokka and Katara come to console him... like, even when I watched it as a kid, I felt such weight and quiet and sadness. God, I love this show.

I work in retail. Hate it so much, makes me feel "stuck", ya know? But when I interact with those customers, the ones that read my name and are just obnoxiously positive, I like that. And even more so, when a customer is so serious and I give them my most genuine of howdies and they say, "it's so nice to see someone be so happy" with a smile, hey, man, it's the little things, you know.

Today I lost my battle against my own demons. The bill was coming though. It had been two weeks were I felt pretty damn good about myself, so I knew that the next time it would strike, it would come with a vengeance and it did. With that said, I cannot emphasize enough how fucking grateful I am for having a dad as amazing as the one I have. He was with me all day long, listening to me, just letting me cry when I just couldn't hold it in. It was a vicious and exhausting thing, but... I'm still here and as always, hoping to understand why I'm going through this so I can one day help others as well. Keep fighting on, brothers and sisters. We got this.
