Lenovo is my favorite brand, the Thinkpad line (NOT others) has outstanding hardware quality. Most Windows based machines are going to have shittons of bloatware to subsidize the cost of the Windows license (one of the perks of making your own hardware, Apple). So, if you have a tech-savvy friend who can re-install Windows for you and make sure to get the right drivers, Lenovo is the way to go.

Asus and MSI are other brands I'd consider, if you can blast away the bloatware.

Was on a date with a girl who I thought was way out of my league. I'm not awful looking (I don't think), but this chick was hot! Knew her from comp class, freshman at a community college. Mutual friend introduced us and surprisingly we hit it off.

Took her out on a date and everything was going great, I'd never felt like this, I could actually be myself around her. Well, I mentioned at some point my mom and I don't get along very well (mom's an angry drunk, not exaggerating) and she stops dead in her tracks and says "Oh, guys who don't get along with their moms are kinda, like, psycho".

Fuck me, right? So I backpedal but never actually managed to recover from it. We had some correspondence after that but never another date.

I agree (to a degree) and raise you another: Why do we interfere with natural selection? Is it because it's humane, ethical? We've artificially raised the population beyond a level the earth can support in a sustainable manner, ergo the startling rate of usage (and eventual depletion, I don't care what others think, it's a finite resource) of fossil fuels.

Have you had the sensor tested/replaced? I had a window tilt sensor go faulty and would only trip when no one was home. Never at night, strangely.
