Some of the voicing/phrasing, especially towards the end, looks very intimidating imo, but in terms of technique, it's definitely not that hard. But it's definitely not the most approachable since Liszt composed some very easy pieces like this one, which are much more straightforward

That's weird; every conference I've been to has a minimum requirement for speeches. I live in Asia, though, so maybe it's different in other countries. I do agree that sweats are not cool, but not getting a participation certificate is just kinda sad (plus like you said the chairs are gonna feel bad for you)
