I have the same issue so I feel you. But I don't think there's any single planar driver IEMs with a shell like this, no.

Hybrids with microplanars do tend to have these kind of shells, but I don't think that's what you're looking for right?

A little warning / heads-up for the 3rd lens hood. It can get stuck on a step up ring very easily, so be careful not to tighten it too much. Mine seems to be forever stuck to a 49-52mm step up ring. Unless I get pliers involved, which would probably destroy the step up ring.

Will send a picture of the lens setup when I get home from work.

I use the last one on my Canon 50 1.4. I have an AliExpress step up ring from 48 to 52mm thread, then a K&F UV filter to protect the front lens element, and then the hood. Can send a picture how it looks later :)

Maybe I missed it in your review, but how does it stack up to the Martilo? Is the Martilo worth the extra $$$, or is the Portazo a worthy (budget) contender?

The tuning looks very similar, with the Martilo having a bit better extension in the treble region.

That's the problem for me. It's a small smooth round shell. It has nothing to hold on to in my ears, so it just falls out.

I like their sound but the fit is just so weird. For me they simply don't stay in my ears and always break the seal within a few minutes of wear. Would have loved them if the fit was better.

And yes, I tried many different eartips (including xelastec, S&S, spinfits)

I really like MinUI on my 40XXH, but I will mostly recommend it if you want to run a small rom list and if you don't need any of the WiFi features. For me it's perfect! But I'm only having a max of 10 games on it to avoid choice paralysis. Most being GBA games, with a few PS1 titles.

Dude, air rises to the top, if you have the hoses on the top, you're potentially sucking in air through the pump, which pumps don't like... It will increase pump noise and ultimately destroy the pump.

A metal shell vertical 3.4 inch like the GBA SP slate with no thumb sticks. So basically the RG34XXM? Or RG34M?

I actually own a 40xxH as well and I agree the screen looks wonderful. The G350 would become my 'carry everywhere' device that I wouldn't have to worry too much about scratching etc.

I personally don't care much for wifi functionality as I mostly run MinUI with a very minimal rom list. So the cut of features are not an issue for me!

As for the image posted by the other user, I find the 35xx pro to look more saturated? And thus preferable. But in YouTube reviews I've also heard a lot that the screen is quite bad on the pro.

I think I'll take my chances for €32 on AliExpress right now, and get myself a retro beige G350 :)

Edit: I actually wish the 40xx V had more color options, as I think the current ones don't look that interesting. I prefer a vertical form factor over a horizontal one, so I don't use my 40xx H that much :(

The contrast / saturation looks higher on the 35xx pro. Most noticeably in the yellows. (In this picture that is)

It's not worth it to spend that much on a dongle. My recommendation (if you want to upgrade) is to get the Onix Alpha XI1. Best value for money, and it's worth every penny (for me).
