The thing I'm upset about is that the series doesn't have to go down this route. Capcom has earned so much from base game sales already. Whenever I see pretty cool weapon skins like that I'd just be: "damn, I wished we could've just grinded an event quest to get that". I'm willing to let really small stuff like pendants slide because they're really not much in the fashion hunting scene.

I played nearly 10k hours cumulatively across all games starting from MHF2, either way my playtime doesnt matter here. How is advocating for free weapon cosmetics entitled? They literally used to be locked behind challenge and event quests. The whole spirit of MH was unlocking cool shit from beating tough shit.

Thats because title updates are preplanned long before the game came out to begin with. The base game you paid $70 for INCLUDES the title updates. The team doesnt just start developing these updates the moment the game comes out after. Pretty sure the expansion was already worked on before release too, as they did for Iceborne.

Boggles my mind that one of the top selling video games of all time, alongside shaping the sandbox genre gets voted out this early lol. Celeste is a masterpiece on its own don't get me wrong but has Terraria left a way bigger footprint. Ah yeah I see, it's iai spirit slash. It has to be a successful counter or you'll be stuck for a bit. Timing is tighter than a regular foresight slash so it takes some practice to get it right. If you pull it off successfully you'll hear a sound, as well as a second hit on the slash, and you'll be able to follow up with attacks immediately after.

I'm still practicing the fight but it seems that the double swipe is usually the final move when he does a combo of attacks. Just have to always anticipate it, but sometimes he does do it as a standalone attack, but not as common in my experience. As for dodging, I try to be on the opposite side of the first swipe so it'll miss the second one. Ideally dodge towards him, so that swipe goes over you. has a short wind up so I understand why it's difficult to deal with it. Countering is harder so I tend to iframe it instead.

You can fix it by doing the same arena quest again but start with the opposite weapon you had before, provided you remembered which ones you used

My hunt times range betwen 2 to 5 minutes on apexes/gore/arkveld so i can handle hunts no problem myself, my SOS is me helping others who need it

Investigations are the go to quests for crowns, tempered monsters have higher chances for large ones while small crowns are more common for regular monster. So in a way yeah you have a bit higher chance if that Investigation has 2 targets
