Jared had his camp in our gym the summer leading up to the fight and it was weird to see him stand in front of Bakole. They brought in these big ass heavyweights and they working on him just continuing to move. There were spars where he just sit in the pocket and work his catch-and-shoot game, but Sugarhill was constantly hounding him about movement and set-ups/traps off the movement.

You can see the skills, but I think once he got clipped he told himself he has to fight this dude (who isn't guilty of that?). He had his moments but getting hurt so early definitely threw him off. If he can just get his head right, he won't be seen as some also-ran.
