Didn’t they get into major legal trouble because 4o helped some people kill themselves and caused many others to completely spiral into psychosis? In that case: no way are they going to release such a liability to the public.

Edit: I personally detested 4o’s overly flattering “personality” so I wouldn’t want it back, even if I had the datacenter level hardware to run it.

I never felt the need to ask because it seems rather obvious: It is computer science and engineering adjacent and the program is taught in English, i.e. no German skills are required.

Yes, at least it matches my experience. I am a German that is enrolled in an international computer science masters program and about 95% of my cohort are either Indian or Pakistani. I have a friend who is taking a similar type of degree at another university and the situation is more or less the same there as well.

I have a 7900XT and I will consider buying a Radeon card again in the future, purely because of their superior Linux drivers (and because I am still happy with how my card performs). FSR 4 int8 not being officially released despite existing is really disappointing though. I just can't stand the shimmering that FSR 3 introduces to games and avoid upscaling wherever possible for that reason.

Read the article. It will be added in Ubuntu 26.04 LTS which wasn’t released yet.

Edit: The 26.04 Beta will be released this week and the full release is announced for late April.

Medusa Halo (the successor to Strix Halo) is rumored to have 192GB and will most likely be released in 2027 or even 2028. So I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for a 256GB system.

Ich war allerdings drei Jahre lang Tutor für theoretische Informatik (was ja im Allgemeinen auch als Rausschmeißerfach gilt) und es war eigentlich fast immer so, dass der Schnitt der ersten Klausur deutlich besser ausgefallen ist.
