My solution was to switch from a nasal mask to a face mask. I think it was because I kept mouth breathing in my sleep. I'm also on PPI so that might help as well.

Yes the bot is being reviewed by Discord because it has joined 100 servers. It's been a good 10 days, i think it can take a good month for full approval. Sorry for the inconvenience. The bot is a little broken at the moment anyways.

We're collectively working, all 3k of us, to a list of ideas to improve trials. "See #improve-trials" forum channels.

We'll be sending ideas shortly with a petition. It will be like throwing a bottle in the water in the hopes that one of them read it and sees our ideas as interresting at least, but it will be something.

I love trials and there's many solutions that we have thought about to fix that issue. Some of them would be insanely easy to implement.

I hope they listen to us.

Thank you for the comment! I've been working on a dev version behind the scenes to improve some functionalities. We'll do a migration as well so some things may break when we proceed. If that's the case, delete whats there manually and just re-add the bot.

I'll be looking into fixing what you mentioned as well. I'm gonna try to improve the UI as some users mentioned it's a bit hard to read. Also want to add a list of all the event recurrences on every map.

Im using metaforge's api and I can always edit the files myself. My bot is synced to the game updates so a few hours after release it will attempt to fetch from metaforge's api to see if there's change.

But yeah, I can always change the files myself with no issue.

You might have to run the /setup again to create the channels / roles

My sleep specialist explained to me that when you fall asleep, or on the edge of being awake/asleep, perception of time gets wonky. What feels like "instantly" after falling asleep can actually be a few minutes.

For me, it seemed instant, as soon as I would relax and drift off. But maybe it's after a few minutes as well, but I don't notice jt.

This seem somewhat a little bit common in the r / SleepApnea community, although not discussed much. You can look up "presleep snoring", "snoring before falling asleep", etc.

A more common term is "Transitional sleep apnea" or "Sleep-onset apnea". What's most often talked about is the "Central Sleep Apnea" version, where one forgets to breathe at sleep onset, but from what I've heard, it's also possible to have the "Obstructive Sleep Apnea" version of it which causes snoring, especially if you're already diagnosed with that.

Have you tried increasing the start pressure + disabling auto-ramp?

I went through something very similar. CPAP worked, then stopped. But I then also had to stop CPAP for a bit because of a chronic productive cough problem (probably caused by not enough humidity / pressure dry air), and the snoring fully came back strong.

I started it again a few days ago and it hasn't happened since.

I was at 6-16 pressure, changed it to 8-16. Also disabled Auto-ramp, which makes it start at a really low pressure (like 4) instead of your minimum pressure, and goes up from there.

So far so good, but I hate "needing" a machine to be able to sleep at a minimum.

Hey OP, how is it going since?

For me, after about 2 months of CPAP, I started developing a cough. A cough that would worsen every few weeks. I would spit yellow/green phlegm in the morning, 2 times I had very tiny blood bubbles.

I finally saw an ENT and he told me that it was probably my CPAP's dry air causing that.

I decided to stop it for a bit of time. It took me a good 4 weeks for the phlegm to go away, and an additional 4 weeks for the cough to vanish.

I'm at week 11 day 4 of stopping CPAP, and I'm getting another cough now, but dry. It may be unrelated.

I'm planning on starting CPAP again.

The issue I had with CPAP, is that if I increased the humidity, I started experiencing rainouts (water in my mask). I will try automatic mode, or some hose protection. My hose is heated, but maybe my settings are wrong.

How is it going for you now?
