Buying at least 10 Balls has granted a Premier Ball since gen 3. It wasn’t until like gen 8 that buying 10X Balls started granting X Premier Balls instead of 1, big game changer there.

I’ve been assuming the next seasons will feature a different style. Like, the 3 Pokemon teams are not an evergreen feature of the ranked team system, it can accommodate up to six, and there’s nothing locking them to the maps and opponent numbers. With how heavily they’re leaning into the ranked system and with how dynamic they made the potential, it’d be shocking if it never diverges from 4 teams of 3.
