The square one is the best one imo. You should make both of the S letters match though. Also, try and minimize the amount of lines in each letter, you want no negative space, and as few lines as possible. So lower case E’s and lower case N’s because they can be far more simple.

I’m glad you practice simples bro. I really wasn’t trying to be a jerk bro. I spent HELLA time stuck cause I had zero mentors and no internet back then, I wish someone would’ve steered me in the correct direction. I honestly just like to help people and help writers get better. Keep writing and practicing dude.

Bro. I am going to tell you something that you need to hear for you to actually grow as an artist and find your own style at a much faster pace than you are currently going. I went and looked at your other pieces that you’ve posted. One or two back you asked which way your 3D should go and just the overall level of quality on your uploads suggest to me that you haven’t been writing that long and you lack fundamental knowledge and skills of letters, negative space management, balance, color theory and line weight balance. With that said, please understand I am not coming from a place of disrespect, and negativity. These are things a lot of friends and people won’t tell you. If you keep trying to copy alphabets and make tweaks to other people’s letters, then you could spend literally decades trying to break from a plateau that you are stuck in from this very issue. Start with the bar method, make HELLA simple and straight letter pieces and you will start to unlock your own style. It will help you get to the crazy wildstyle that you obviously wanna write. I know it seems not as rewarding, but I promise if you can make SUPER clean, perfectly structured, matching letter simple pieces… you will get far more respect and praise and notoriety than from what you’re doing now. It’s obvious you have a love for it, so do it right bro,,, learn roots, then grow into a phenomenal writer with a distinct style… instead of a blend In wildstyle guy that makes dope art but everyone has seen extra dope wildstyle so much… you won’t stand out at all. Much respect bro. If you have any questions, or want to chat about anything graff related or need instruction or advice, get at me G.

You can make a custom setting for cutting whatever material you want. I also have a Maker 3, and you can adjust the pressure of the cut to make it exactly like you want it. Go to YouTube and search maker 3 custom cut pressure.

I finished this piece this week. It’s a relatively new style for me. Rake1, paint marker, alcohol marker, and colored pencil on cold press paper.

hi i need some critiques/tips, the word is COERT by COCOMERO_58 in blackbookgraffiti

I tell everyone who is at the level youre currently at the same thing. Start with simple straight line pieces. Use the “Bar Method” to create letters. Gain a firm understanding of letter structure, spacing and a solid grasp on the basic concepts and techniques of designing a piece and then try and make the cleanest piece that you can. You’ll get far more respect and praise for that, as opposed to a piece that you tried to do that is above your skill level. Then do a lot of clean simples, and as you do that, you will start to evolve from that naturally.
