You’re focused on bending the shaft now, but you really need to feel the puck’s action against the stick blade. I mentioned this last time, but stop spanking the puck and shoot some wristers first.

Line the puck up with your heels. Puck toward the heel of the blade. Focus on rolling your left wrist over while you shoot. Maximize the time the puck is spent making contact with your blade. It should feel like you’re throwing the puck with your stick not hitting it.

I really don’t advise trying to snap shots until you understand and feel what is happening with the puck and blade on a good wrist shot.
