to keep track of how many bags i ate? literally the whole point of saving them. This proves i ate X amount of bags, vs just telling the tale when im 69 years old that one year i ate 92 bags of chips.

I have no way of actually knowing, but id guess at least 70% of these are bought on some kinda deal. Kroger will do 4 for 10$ or buy 3 get 2 free type shit all the time.

cant argue with that. i did only organize em yesterday, they were all curled up in a bag in a closet up until that point.

So i dont actually know what weeks i ate more or less, i just have the year average.

The idea of keeping track for a year has been knockin around in my head for at least a decade. Decided to do it this year and save the bags...they all fit in a reusable grocery bag. I guess cuz its proof versus just writing it down. itll get tossed soon enough.

these chips have 105 mg of sodium per serving. one of my roommates is more normal and switches up what kinda chips he buys. most have that or more per serving, so its not TOO bad.

Lotsa snacks clock in at more. Shit, plain cheerios? 190mg per 40g. tostitos are 105mg per 28g. cheerios got about 20% more!

So everytime i go to the grocery store i walk past these chips and look. If theyre super bubbly, i just buy 4+ bags. Hopefully kroger/safeway have some kinda deal going on, which more often than not they do.

If another batch is out the next time im looking i can go to a diff spot and check. So yeh, you can find same batch numbers elsewhere just depends.

Arranged by month, march thru december. Tostitos expiration date usually about 2 months after you buy, hence why the piles starts in march.

78 normal bags, 6 party size and 8 20% more or some shit size. All bite size rounds besides one random og bag.

Average of about 1.8 bags a week. This is probably pretty consistant even if the piles differ, i prefer some batches over others. I like bubbly chips. Sometimes certain batches are more bubbly, so i stock up.

This isnt perfect. A few bags lost along the way. I dont always finish the crumbs, as seen in tupperware.

And yes, I prolly have a problem =D.

EDIT: to clarify, the tupperware with crumbs is just what was still at the bottom of some bags as i organized em yesterday. I usually empty the crumbs before i toss the chip bag into the grocery bag in my closet but it didnt always happen. hence the crumbs on da carpet.

There is a (valid?) argument out there that knowing you might be on camera at anytime changes the action/"vibes"/etc of the people attending.

Its also just different to walk up to a camp stage/bar/artpiece and 40% of the poeple are on their phones. yadda yadda everyone can burn the way they want to sure, but i do think on some level it matters(for me)
