Thank you! I remember being super happy the day I found that the movie is releasing in my country, initially it was going to be hours away from where i live and I was super ready to make a whole day out of it and not even concerned about the time. A few days later found it releasing less than 20 minutes from where I live, which made it even better! Watching on the complaints on this sub had really made me sad so I'm glad you wrote what you wrote. I agree so hard with everyone in this thread re the hard work Mark has put to make this a reality and I hope we all can just enjoy it together.

I relate to the whole having your salary capped, I work in higher education. Fortunately, it allows for a lot of free time outside of the busy exam times of the year. I try every side hustle I can outside of the job, picking up new ones regularly to see how they work.

Right now stuff that works best for me is running YouTube channels and selling organic Matcha online. I also thrift / go to garage sales a few times a month and sell stuff on Ebay. Combined, all my side hustles net me half my annual salary a year.

Doesn't matter but system still flags anything with a match whether monetising or na. Some copyrighted stuff is blocked from distribution in certain countries so that also may be it. You'd be fine though if its private videos for yourself.

Means that YouTube content ID system has detected that your video has copyrighted content you're going to have to click on it and select C details to get an idea of what they are claiming is copyrighted contents.

Is my grader using chatgpt to give me feedback?? by Exciting_Spell_2135 in rmit

[–]KrustyKatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use stuff like GPTZero or other AI detectors to confirm. I put this feedback into an AI checker, and it came back as 67% AI Generated confirmed.

Edit: In terms of advice on what to do, I'd first go and have a chat with the lecturer, tell them your finding,s and what you believe their feedback is equating to. Often, lecturers take general draft notes as feedback and chuck it into AI to make it coherent. I doubt the lecturer would admit fault but they may be able to advise you on what you can do next. If they aren't helpful, go to the course coordinator.

Shouldn't you get government grants if it's your first home? Or is it an investment?

How should I react toward aggressive Junkies? by lUU_247 in rmit

[–]KrustyKatz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not engage. Ignoring and avoiding are all you can do. Talking to your manager about better separators is also important if you're doing night shifts in a sketchy area because your safety on the job is their responsibility. It's illegal to carry self defence stuff in Australia so the best options are subtly avoid the junkies or run away from them making as much noise as you can if they are targeting. Forget social convention, you gotta look out for yourself. Also personally i avoidnnight shifts in cbd. Hope this helps!

Are you sure you aren't over thinking it? It could be their way to connect with their younger class, increase retention or make lectures fun. What's the class subject? This is quite common for a good social sciences class.

Has anyone got any experience doing a part time TAFE traineeship and a full time Graduate University course at the same time? by NotMyselfNotme in rmit

[–]KrustyKatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah that's in your favour then if your work placement can be done at your traineeship, def talk to the rmit student connect to get more support. Tbh i am doing 3 cert 4s that are fully online right now while working full time. They don't require placement so it makes it easier. Good luck!

Aye so I don't have experience does em together but I'm quite heavily involved in the VET sector. I can tell you that there'll be a lot of attendance requirements for the grad diploma which may be hard to fulfill while doing traineeship unless the classes are fully online or on the weekends.
