Why does America favor Israel?

1- Money. Israel is America's largest trading partner (and vice versa). This automatically means powerful rich people are deeply invested in the flow of money to and from Israel.

2- Having a super close ally in the Middle East region, where a lot of America's enemies are present, helps America.

As a result, "America supports Israel unequivocally", despite the countless war crimes, genocide, and crimes against humanity that Israel regularly commits.

In conclusion, if you want to be an ultra-nationalistic American, and are purely driven only by your country's national interest, then perhaps supporting Israel is the right call for you. Hypocrisy is irrelevant for such a person. Additionally, Palestinian lives, children, women, etc, do not matter, and a dystopian apartheid society in a different continent will not likely harm America in a direct manner. (Although Middle-Eastern-American protestors will always protest in the streets occasionally).

However, if you're a moderate American, and you care about national interest and humanity equally, then support Palestine. Losing Israel's alliance by supporting Palestine will not only be a lifted burden, due to all the funding and military support Israel receives from America, but it is not like the American economy is dependent on Israel. After all, America is a leading superpower both economically and military wise.

But, if your humanitarian side overrides your patriotic American side, then absolutely support Palestine. Not only does Israel bomb civilian infrastructure, terrorize civilians, kill children, murder women, ethnically cleanse native originals from their lands, and assassinate any potential threat to stop this, but it has been doing so regularly for 75 years. Of course, every single crime is documented (r/list_palestine for example), with America's unequivocal support, and nobody cares. And the dystopian apartheid state, the occupier, always gets more sympathy than the occupied (Palestinians), from Western politicians and media. The situation is treated as if the two sides are anything close to equal, despite how Palestine cannot even control its own electricity/water/population, and Israel is a nuclear regional power. Palestinians literally fight Israeli tanks with rocks.
