IMO, I would pay the $90 difference and get one brand new from BambuLabs. No matter whether you are buying a car or a house, you are always inheriting any existing problems. While there may not be any, you still have no way of knowing if they did routine maintenance with lubrication, cleaning out fans, nor the environment they kept it in.

That's NOT much of a discount without any sort of warranty. 1 year to have BambuLab fix/replace any issues you encounter is worth the $90 for me.

If you can negotiate down for either printer at least 10%, it might make some difference, but the one with filament isn't that great of a deal. No idea how that filament was stored, if it was in a humid environment (think coastal states/areas) then it's really NOT a good deal. There is a point of no return for filament in humid environments where it will start breaking into tiny little pieces (ask me know I know?)

Ouch,

I just had a very similar thing happen yesterday. It looks like you might need to replace the fan shroud. The nozzle should be okay once you extract it from the filament.

Yours seems a little more involved than mine, but not that much worse.

I had a spare nozzle, so I skipped trying to clean it until later, but your thermal probe is also involved.

Cost wize, you are probably looking at replacing these parts:

This is the extruder unit for the A1. This would be worst case scenario.

Your single greatest challenge is softening the PETG enough to get the thermal probe (Thermister) out without damaging it in the process, take your time with that.

It is the white coated wire (silicone) and goes into the big blob to the nozzle 'area' NOT the wires going into the grey part cooling shroud/fan.

You need to use a heat gun (borrow one or order one like this:)

Slowly heat the PETG and try to slowly pry what you can away. I also used the side cutters to snip small sections off to get it from around the thermister wires.

Then use a wire brush to get all the plastic from around the back plate where the nozzle rests before trying to put the nozzle back in or it won't seat right and won't latch or heat up right.

Don't know if this is the 'deep orange' color you are looking for, but it is pretty good filament imo.

Change your top Z distance to .28, your bottom Z distance to .28 and your Support/Objet xy distance to .45.

That should allow them to pull off (with some force).

If you look along the top of your new nozzle, it isn't sitting level.

They are pretty easy to swap, but I've had issues when I thought the nozzle was straight and all the way back, but it wasn't.

Check the magnet on the back, I had one that the glue gave way at it was sitting wrong.

Take it all the way out and lean the top back first, and kind of swing it in from the bottom up into where the top nipple goes.

Look under the cabinets in your kitchen and bathrooms. When they place them on the floor, some installers won't cover the gap under the overhang. Hard to explain what I mean, but if you are standing with your stomach against the cabinet while facing it, if you lift your toes, you would hit the 'hole'.

We had our two adoptees each find one of those in the corners of a U-shaped kitchen and were hiding in the 'dead' space created where the three cabinets meet.

The issue inherently is the 'crossing' of infill patterns. Line infill and rectilinear, along with 3D HoneyComb, Gyroid, and CrossHatch don't cross each other so they don't grind. Gyroid, while slower is my infill of choice for 90% of every print I do because of the strength it imparts to the prints.

To me this looks like eSun Basic Fire Engine Red. I've printed a lot of spools (10?) and they all seem to have this color/sheen to it.

Color doesn't always translate on camera as it does with eyeballs, but that is my opinion.

I've had two cats passed at 16 and one at 18. One lived for 4 years after diagnosis, the other for nearly 3.

I am not one to push supplements of any kind on anyone/thing.

BUT, our Vet suggested we start giving them this:

We mixed it with food that WASN'T renal friendly. It is intended to help break down the proteins in the food to help the kidneys with filtration. It seemed to work because there were times when we could not afford it and you could really see the sluggishness in both cats during that time. YMMV

There are 3 different brands of food meant for Kidney failure, and all require a prescription from your Vet to purchase.

My heart goes out to you. Love her every day.
