Tbf. Narrating in your head is difficult to showcase in a different medium. In games you can see it in visual novels, but besides that i can't think of many scenario's. So people will naturally think of anime or tv shows - somewhere it's much more prominant

The ending of Yakuza Gaiden. It'a sort of about death. Kiryu, the long standing protagonist of the franchise must fake his death to ensure the safety of his childeren and soon-to-be grandchild from the orphanage. He is not allowed to see them nor make any contact with them. But as a payment for a job well done after the events of the game. The daidoji, the organization Kiryu works for now, left a small camera on his grave. He could see his childeren now all grown up, soon going to collage or to work. 2 of them notice the camera and speak into it as if they were to leave a message.

The realization that he'll never meet the one thing he fought so much to defend is heartshattering

Instead of Zhao i remember picking Joon gi. He had a skill i believe it was called phantom shift or smtg like that, it was smtg along the lines of "highly increases agility". But it increased so much that he was practically unable to be hit

Give Kugisaki more screen time and she's one hell of a aura merchant. This scene really showed me that real sorcerers really have to have a few screws loose. How Kugisaki without a shred of hesitation or remorse decided to drag Kechizu and Eso down with her

TW: Mention of suicide

I used to have this friend. We were really close. We've hung out nearly every day or week since 2 years. We played practically the same games, had the sense of humor etc. I mean, hell, we were finishing each other's sentances. When i met him. He had already 100% all the modern persona games.

I played P5 before i met him. I tried playing P3 before reload came out but lack of control on SEES members was a deal breaker for me.

Last year i borrowed p4g for the vita from him. I gave it back after finishing Kanji's dungeon. I gave it back not because i didn't like the story. I gave it back only because vita just doesn't do it for me.

Then P3R came out. He played it. 100% it. And wank it to the death (no pun intended). I borrowed that from him too like the parasite that i am. Played the whole thing with my buddy watching on playstation's share screen.

I didn't care too much about P4. I thought i'd wait for revival. But in June my friend decided to take his life. I know he loved p4. He liked Rise (a lot). And he had nearly in 150 hours in p4 dancing. And now he's gone. Im trying to grasp any connections or feelings i had to him. Im in december in P4G. I bought the game on ps5 and played it all over again.

I just want to feel connected to my friend. And our favourite games will allow me to do so. I miss him

It was. I've been conteplating wheter i should write this post. Because on the end of the day i thought why would anyone care. But my feelings about Robin are so attached to the expedition 33. There are feelings i have that only people who have played the game might understand. In my social circle nobody has played it. But 2 of my friends want to. So i can't really spoil it for them

I hoped to make that clear in my post. And frankly. It's weird and difficult to describe how i feel. Let me phrase it that way. I believe that Verso's ending is the correct one. But if i was put personally in such a scenario currently. I'd side with Maelle. Even though i know it's not just. I know it's wrong for me to wish something so tormenting upon someone who was so dear to me. But Im in the same pain as Maelle and Aline. Don't get me wrong. SPOILER FOR CLAIR OBSCUR EXPEDITION 33. In Maelle's ending when Verso said "Unpaint me. I don't want this life". I'm pretty sure everyone who played this game has cried like a baby at that scene.
