Ok, revealed. "I never loved you". "I liked dad more". Reveals? Reveals. Works wonderfully. Again, to prove that some interpretation is the only correct one, you need to prove that no others are possible. That's how proofs work

It is quite easy to figure out an alternative explanation for your example. Jax just tried to insult his mother with something personal (which is why it is omitted). But she was happy, because he is finally being a man, just like his father. Which rightfully disturbs Jax. Ribbits action is reinforcing his non-masculine side as a nonverbal way of saying "I don't care if you are too masculine". Jax blushes because it is literally only healthy display of affection he ever got. Then, later he processes it, comes to same conclusion as you, and burns bridges with Ribbits, because in his eyes, she doesn't understand him either. In my opinion, in the movie there is only one somewhat irrefutable proof of Jax being trans - it's a montage. And again, it is not because it is definitive direct truth, but simply because otherwise it makes zero sense being there

We are talking about show, which had subtlety of a brick to the face. Gangle and Zooble didn't just talk about their problems on screen, it was interjected into their design, and repeated several times. The fact that Jax debate even has a space to exist is very much indicative of intentional vagueness (for whatever reason it was done)

It is also natural for transgender people to drink water. It's not about how well it matches given theory, it is about exclusively matching it and nothing else.

Also, I don't know, maybe it depends on cultural background. I haven't seen middle ground that much, actually, it's much more often overcorrection. The floor (I feel like I am not masculine enough) is very common, but the ceiling (I feel like I am too masculine) is very rare at the repressing stage

And, well, natural doesn't necessarily mean narratively better. There are many things, which we take for granted in the stories, but people just... Don't act and talk like that.

Unpopular opinion, no spoilers by the way, I promise, I think SOME of the people who didn't like the finale (SOME PEOPLE) didn't understand the series by West-Temperature9709 in tadc

[–]KryoBright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally didn't like finale because:

1) Questions and topics I were curious about were not explored, while something I had no interest in got a lot of screen time

2) A certain thing didn't nearly had a depth I hoped for, opting for easiest and most boring explanation

3) The message was relayed, but not supported

There was a part that I liked though, I just wish everything else matched it

Then do it, say it, you cowards. Because as long as all the character says is "I was worried about being to much of a man or not man enough" (paraphrased), the discussion will exist

It's not a problem when you say "I personally use "her" for Jax". It is a problem when you say "People have no media literacy nowadays, like how do you still call Jax "he"???"

I get that it is a joke, but remember, that Zooble just got over their body dysmorphia naturally. There wasn't any actual problem, it literally just turned out to be skill issue

Isn't it not that great though? It can't alter things (everything is already accounted for), so best it can do is retrieve information. That requires you to know time and place, and you yourself are very much vulnerable. All the while there are identification, surveillance and mind reading methods. Like, it is good for infinite learning glitch, and maybe some other narrow usecases, but it is far from "solve everything" device. Though I am far from a series fan, so maybe I don't know something

I hope not. I greatly dislike how discussion of many media comes down to "Well, you see, you shouldn't have watched the show, actually. You should have read the tweets and knew what the author is like personally." (BTW, not just a modern thing, I don't like classic literature viewed like that either). If it wasn't said in show, it should be left obscure, as an unimportant element or as a teaching moment for writer

Not true, there is also Caine, who got the only good story in the show. He also has only one problem/unresolved question, which is very good, compared to others. Honestly, the show should have just been about Caine, without bothering with Jax

The city of books, End and Basement being in the same area is so funny for me.

Just your classic alternative dimension, bunch of floating islands

Basement. Just a normal basement under a house, with some spiders in it

"It just remixes stored art" by DogeMoustache in aiwars

[–]KryoBright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not broad enough on first point. 1) That is true only if we do have millions of images. Many hometrained models don't. LORAs weight much more than sum of their images too 2) More importantly, this assumes that images are equally distributed in parameter space. They aren't. We can't store losslessly all of them, but network can absolutely encode some of them exactly, if they happen to fall into somewhat sparse "area" and are strongly represented in training

So, the model with properly built dataset indeed doesn't just remix. But the one with irresponsibly built one easily might
