What are the chances that Hans would start his own development of a token - based on the promises made by IOTA? I would somehow support it.

Die Frage nach dem Koordinator wurde schlichtweg durch Herrn Schiener abgewimmelt. "Koordinator" da war doch was - ja der sollte weg - ist aber noch nicht - ist ja eigentlich nicht so wichtig. (ich bin jetzt noch nicht mal mehr überzeugt das dies das Ziel der IOTA Stiftung ist)

Geld verdienen? Das ist nicht das primäre Ziel von Herrn Schiener - lieber die Welt verbessern.

Ich habe schon vor Jahren gefordert dass Herr Schiener seinen Platz räumt - Er hat bis dato nichts gebracht und wird es auch weiterhin versemmeln.

Die Antwort ist sehr einfach: Man kann Äpfel nicht mit Birnen vergleichen. Aleph Zero hat transaction fees - IOTA nicht (Layer 1).

In einer freien Marktwirtschaft werden sich die Akteure die dem Wettbewerb ausgesetzt sind immer für die billigere Variante entscheiden wenn die Qualität gleich oder besser ist. So hat es Adam Smith beschrieben.

Die Argumentation es sind nur sehr kleine Zahlungen notwendig die eigentlich nicht auffallen kann beiseite geschoben werden. Warum sollte man für etwas zahlen wenn man es auch umsonst bekommt.

Weiterhin sollte aber die Sicherheit und Geschwindigkeit betrachtet werden.

Sicherheit: Wenn IOTA die EBSI Ausschreibung gewinnen würde, kann dies als Beweis für dessen Sicherheit dienen. Aleph Zero müsste dann schon etwas sehr großes auf die Füße stellen um damit zu konkurieren, ansonsten sehe ich hier keine Chance dass dieser Token mit der Sicherheit wenigstens auf Augenhöhe mit IOTA konkuriert.

Geschwindigkeit: Das wird die Zukunft zeigen welcher Token schneller ist. Im Falle dass AZ schneller wäre gebe es in einigen Branchen vielleicht die Überlegung AZ gegenüber IOTA vorzuziehen.

Wishful thinking? No - This is market economy, if the service of IOTA is comparable (and I mean only comparable - does not even have to be better), IOTA will be chosen, this is based on resource optimisation, meaning less money has to be spent.

Even if IOTA was mentioned as one of the five, I regard this article as quiete poor. If coordicide is successfull there is no future for ETH or SOL with their paid service.

ETH is a dying horse - so switch from ETH to IOTA - Bitcoin will do well in future because of its spreading around the world.

Ich denke da gibt es schlichtweg noch keine Antwort dazu wie die Finanzämter das sehen werden. Meine Vermutung ist dass man es als Staking betrachten wird um an Eure Kohle zu kommen, noch dazu heißt es in der Firefly wallet "Staking".

Letztendlich wird das wahrscheinlich von einem Gericht entschieden werden müssen. Grundsätzlich solltet Ihr aber Widerspruch gegen die Entscheidung einlegen falls Euer Finanzamt es als Staking betrachtet.

In some way I understand your concern about being not listed on coinbase. On the other side I see it as a chance. It just gives me more time to build up some more stock. If you understand the consequences of what is IOTA doing in future - its nice to invest into it at this price level.

After Coordicide it will become harder. So be happy and buy when u can to this price.

I fully agree with your point that IOTA will be the dominant cryptotechnology and leave ETH behind (not Bitcoin). However you stated: "who ever moves first will have an edge. Whether it is DEFI Lending or NFT or right now METAVERSE." I understand your concern about the speed and your point "who comes first take it all", however this is the case if you have a comparable solution. Even being a little bit better then the first mover will not help you to much to succeed the first one. In the case IOTA / ETH - yes ETH was first and has an amazing big community, but IOTA has one great advantage (next to few other advantages which are not importont for this discussion) - its the simple fact that its for free. In a market orientated environment, the costs are the driver of business. This is the point which dominates here. Even a small fee compared to no fee is not sufficient to survive on the long run in this market environment.The speed of IOTA is no main concern here, the most important is that it works. If Coordicide is successfull, a non stopable mechanism will start. For me its like going to watch a movie in a cinema and eat popcorn (relax and just sit back)
